      I also want to see the problem solved i was just pointing out that that was not a good example... i also suffer with the current system and i've pointed it far to many times. I want to see this solved in order to be able to play the game i like! Now please someone with powers to do it, please fix this issue i really can't stand being specced and watching others eating my bullets... i have the fastest home connection available at my country so if i get specced probably all other players in my country happen to be specced as well.

          If he goes from 40 to 80, and even as high as 100, that's still nowhere near 250ms - 40, 80, and 100ms are (in my opinion) perfectly acceptable lag numbers. Unless the actual spike is horrendous, which it isn't. Perhaps the bot should check for deviation X for less laggy ping ranges (~100 and below) and deviation Y for more laggy ping ranges.

            Have to agree with Jason here. These laglimits have more negative effects than positive. Besides, I don't think lagging has ever been this kind of a big problem that it is treated like nowadays. Except for a few more extreme cases.

            The complaints about lag will never cease in an online multiplayer game, no matter what. Perhaps it will be less when we have fibre connections to each house, but not before that.

                i don't have too big a problem with the lag limits

                however my biggest concern is the +deaths it gives

                how often did a game ever come down to the 1 or 2 deaths that were avoided anyway... perhaps once ever?

                if it could tell the difference between SPECCING and actual LAG then it could work but since most of the time the +death comes from lag i question what purpose it really serves

                  I think its a big problem. I used to have Dial-Up and I lagged on avg about 230. I hardly ever specced. Then I got comcast, 90ms avg. I'll get specced randomly during jds/dds or wbduel. Usually its only one spike and I just lagout and go on my way but sometimes it gets really weird.

                  There have been times in Wbduel where 3+ players from each team have speced every time they kill. Which is where you can see the problem with current lag check methods because you would only have about 2-3 players per team playing at any given moment because everyone else was spiking.

                    i don't like how the +1 death system misses a LOT of lagouts, unless it doesn't count certain scenarios on purpose?

                      It doesn't count the ones done by the bot. If the client or server specs you you get +1. I think it should be fixed so that it doesn't give +1 when you get specced for too high packetloss BY THE GAME, BEFORE THE BOT HAS TIME TO SPEC YOU.

                            Spike checking useless

                            Ya, the spike checking is really badly done and needs to go away. It's funny, but as a shark, I might get a spike and drop a mine on the enemy terr in a TWBD game and kill him before he knows what hit him. If that happens, like it did when I killed Pure_Luck the other day (ask him about it), I don't get specced for Spike. But, when nothing whatsoever is wrong with my connection, I get specced every time I kill someone.

                            Make it go away before we all get sick of it and stop playing twd, I know I'm finished until it's fixed.

                                Remove the fuckin spike check on kill thing. not only is it speccing people who arent even truly lagging, its not even fair for the team who is playing against it. who here has not played against someone in jav lately who disappears every time he gets a kill and knows it. how fucking retarded is it that the bot rewards what it is determining to be a lagger by placing them safely in spec with no death penalty after they suicide kill someone and have no energy.

                                i actually had this happen to me the other day, and i went 4-0 before i ran out of lagouts. this is one of the most retarded fucking ideas ive ever seen in tw.
