clean up the "squads" area

Yeah, I know that if a squad doesn't play for 1 week they come off ladder.

But when I started playing twdd in 2003, I recall reading that if you squad is inactive for 1 month, then twd automatically removes your squad.

I guess this is wrong, as Nethila pointed out; so I guess you do a purge of twd squad list every 5-6months. Ok, thanks for letting us know.

do you recall me asking for your help? or ranting about staff in general? im complaining about a specific issue about the zone, then you change this into a staff-hating thread. are you incapable of reading or incapable of comprehending?

for the others who are wondering why im posting this, why do you care? do i post about your TWL-ALTER THIS ALTER THAT crap? no, everyone has their own opinions and they would like to see certain things changed, i for one would like to see the twd-site looking more organized.

Your attitude how staff should be some type of slave for you is clearly not done. We are here to provide some service, but I guess you do not see how the service has it limits.

For the record, the TWD-ops might have more than one reason not to delete those squads, not just due to inactivity.

Also, your information about what I do on TW is inaccurate, whatever you have as information. There are more things that I already have done for both leagues, then you could ever imagine.

Weaver summed it up nicely, I don't know what you are doing being all hostile from the get go. If you just started out with a please, possibly. Took off the aquamarine, obligatory you are all lazy, there's 6 of you, comment, this wouldn't of happened, and I probably woulda took off a couple of squads, because you asked nicely.

Notice to all TWD squads!

A 1 game per month minimum rule is being brought into effect. There will be a 2 week grace period starting today so that any squads that are currently inactive will have a chance to get some games in. Any squad not meeting the 1 game per month minimum will be removed from TWD due to inactivity.

If your squad is removed this will not stop you from reapplying if you wish to re-enter the leagues.

In my last reply to this thread, I mentioned I read somewhere about 1 game per month rule. Well I was just looking at TWD news history today and I found it.

I guess it doesn't apply anymore, they just do a squad cleanup every 4-6months.

Why isnt the clean up automated say every 2 weeks a script removes all the squads from the main listing without any players on them and puts them in an archive or just deletes them whateva...The squad listing really could do with a clean up - we're lucky we put those $$ in flabby means its at the top of the list ^-^ other squads arnt as fortunate as us tho.....
