TWD games cant be killed?

Disoblige challenged us earlier to a TWDD. We accepted as we had enough on, then one person went afk, and we had three on:
Mantra-Slider and myself agreed to kill game, asked for ?help to do so, and we were told by Weaver: Games can not be killed anymore, thats policy.

That does not make sense though, if both captains agree to kill a game, then it should be done. This is what I have seen throughout the TWD season, for the last couple of months, has the rule been changed recently?

Yeah, we cant kill them anymore. One of the captains will just just lie and say: 'I never agreed to kill it'. I dont see why we just use the logs to see what they actually said.

Or you could just get the mod to ask both captains before killing the match...

Yep both of those actions would work. According to Weaver he would be "suspended" if he killed the game. If this is the case, wonder what the reason this policy is.

If both squads are desperate to kill the game, you could do it in a long-winded fashion by just not placing any players in. I'm anticipating that would give a draw and 15 minutes of wasted time, but no unfairness.

I'm also anticipating a sneaky squad would add 4 players at the last second, but we'll leave that to the sly squads. I hate sly squads

Well, you wouldn't have to wait though right Nockm? I mean you could just abandon the arena. And just let time expire? Hmm

when both squads don't put in ANY player the first round, then the entire game will get voided (=killed) right after that round.

Or you can create a !kill command that kills the current game. Both captains have to do it so its fair...
