I was actually thinking of making a thread about this...

Wtf is the point of full charges in twdd when it's not in twld? I personally would rather practice for TWLD, and nowadays I find myself instinctively going after full charges. This essentially defeats the purpose of skill in games, and there is just so much random bs involved in it (invisigreens).

The older players who are better/more experience don't find a need for fc greens, and probably use the technique of grabbing greens more as a scare tactic in TWDD.

Do you honestly think vets don't grab FCs? What if you are in a 1v3 scenerio, killed someone and have to escape with little energy on your side? You wouldn't go for the green if you had a chance and knew you wouldn't get shot doing it? Bullshit.

If you were getting rushed and had no energy, and all of a sudden picked up a FC, it would get you the kill. You can't do it in TWLD, because people have prized themselves FCs in games and/or have gotten so extremely lucky that it looks like they are cheating. To prevent that, you remove greens.

I say remove all greens from TWDD. You can also get energy depletes, which is bullshit too. Sometimes you have no choice but to run over a green simply as you are dodging, whether you want the green or not. An energy deplete fucks you in the same respect.

Remove greens from TWDD at least. You won't have accusations of people cheating any longer if there are no greens. Invisible greens are fucking bullshit and degrades the quality of games. If you see someone shoot twice in a row and thrust the entire map after shooting, then its fairly obvious they are cheating when there are no greens. I bet you see a couple players banned fairly quickly from that.

As an older player I pick up every damn green that's in my way, and when rushing/getting rushed I ofc change my path if it means picking up a few extra chances to get a FC...
I also think 'vets' use them more wisely.. I at least often make sure the player I'm rushing/ is rushing me doesn't realise I got a FC by 'not using it' in the first few seconds, then 'Boom! guess what, i had full energy for a few seconds now, bitch'.

FCs in DDs are bullshit.

Mainly I just use greens as a way to stop the enemy, you run over a green and stop moving backwards, and instead move forwards like you got a FC, it makes the enemy stop and rethink the rush, which buys you time to recharge.

First people complain about the thrust + shoot thing, now people are complaining about full charges in TWDD.

If you see someone trying to go for a green, then you would back up a little bit and play smart, that quality right there is called thinking ahead. If he does get that FC green, then you did the right thing. Besides, it's not as if it is impossible to try and just rush the other player again and go for another kill.

Seriously, complain about the dynamics of a game when it doesn't go your way. Why hasn't this discussion actually happened earlier? TWD has had greens for a ridiculously long time and players have been taking advantage of FCs for equally as long, the minute you are losing, you have to find something to blame in order to compensate for your inability to play the game.

FC has added a new dimension to the gameplay. If someone is in a sticky situation, they can pick up an FC and change the way the game is going. It makes the game more interesting and by removing them you are making the game more linear and regular.

There's a legitimate reason for that, TWL is a competitive league with top players, and the rules in such leagues have to be absolutist and clear. Removing FC from TWL makes it harder for cheaters to abuse and get away with it. If you can't get used to TWL not having greens since you've been playing TWD, you're just going to have to deal with it like every other player in the league, and considering they're all on exactly the same boat as you it shouldn't be that hard. It's up to you to make changes to your play according to the setting you're in, you can't just expect the league to accommodate itself just for you.

So what am I trying to say? Learn to play the game, learn to adapt to something that has been there for a seriously long time anyway (You should have adapted to FCs in TWDD if you've been playing this game for long enough, which I know most of you people have), and stop finding excuses and picking bones in everything.

Wark, apparently we all need to learn how to play the game like galaxy turbo does, because clearly we haven't played long enough to be able to understand the complex reasoning for FCs being in TWD.
