Allow 3vs3 in TWDD/TWJD?

uh, no? first of all everyone that bases knows by a fact that basing 5vs5 (or below that) is a joke, hence only 1% (or less than that) of the basing games are played 5vs5. 6vs6 and 7vs7 are the most common types of bds these days, and one could even compare it to 4vs4 in dd/jd in popularity. 8vs8 does not happen that often these days to the activity of trench wars (we aren't back in 2003) thus 7vs7 is just fine.

none the less, comparing basing with dueling leagues (jd/dd) is a joke at best. those leagues are way different from each other. and at least in 3vs3 you could still work on the teaming, positioning, aiming and dodging (especially in jds, which is where 3vs3 could actually be useful) where as in 4vs4/5vs5 basing there's nothing you can do to improve yourself (minus some aim/dodge practice, which you can do in public arenas and go base anyways).

i wonder why warbirds whine the most, not to mention seem to be the most stupid/stubborn players in the zone? just because you can't play other leagues doesn't mean that the other leagues suck. i'm talking about warbirds in general here, as it seems like they are always the ones bitching about changes and don't even know what they're talking about. :wub:

3v3 is retarded, the point of playing 4v4/5v5 is to a) prepare for TWLD and b) have "fun"
people will avoid ap'ing even when they have 4 because they want to have their best 3 in, etc etc

If you wanna do something, implement a 2v2 league or something. 3v3 is stupid to add in TWDD.

you sure about that? warbird was my primary ship for years before i started playing other leagues 2004 or 2005 and even nowadays i play dds often. i believe (wonder if it's possible to check) that my total dd match count would be above 1000, if not even more. :fear:

i had several names before that one too. just changed to the name kunkkue because i used that name in habbo hotel (rofl) and runescape. :wub: i love to switch names and most people know that i have way too many names for my own good.

as for riverside, when i care about warbirds i can do fairly well -- that is if it's not 6am in the morning and i'm not drunk as fuck. i will still average 1+:1 on any squad, may it be a newb one or a good one, and do way better than that if i try (which is.. basically.. once in a year). :fear:

Would it be really hard to program a 2v2 division? Just clone the current twd and vary the amount of players in for wb/jav and perhaps change the maps for both. The rest, i believe, remains within the same code.

Please do not add 3v3 option. And if you do, I request the command !challenge <squad> to be set default to 5 players or at least make the damn command !challenge <squad>:5 for the sake of 5v5, because !ap is retarded enough and i already feel like im wasting time playing vs. s0 g00ds in 4v4 that refuse to fight 5v5 despite 3095309 people in spec.
