How do you know 8 is the perfect number? You never tried 9s or 10s. And I do not propose more terrs/sharks or even levs.

In short: there is a 'general feeling' that 10s is wrong. But is it? I still think it might be fun. Yes, it might become a bit more pub-like. But good pub. What's against a good pub? And if you don't feel like playing 10s, just don't do it.

Really, what VALID reasons are there to reject 10s?

why would we do that? last i checked, it isn't illegal to have a 50 member roster

Fact is, thats its already hard enough to survive as terr in 8v8, and if you have 9 or 10, you can be sure to have 1 or 2 specials per team, and the whole basing theory would have to be written new. The system works fine as it is atm and i see no reason why it should be changed

We tried with twfd and twsd and people dont play it, same with duel2.

I bet if enough ppl ask for it, a 10v10 bd could be tried out aswell, but thats not up to me

i'm wondering if cram would really be so strong if a team'd play one jav and six spiders or seven spiders, i think the opposing sharks'd have a hard time keeping them out!

I remember a while back they were messing around with ?go base settings, letting teams play with no ship limits (2 terr/6 shark teams). Maybe have a day in ?go base where we could experiment more? Try 9v9, 10v10, ship limits, etc...

I think it drew a pretty decent crowd when they tried it previously. I don't see the harm in trying it in ?go base again. It's not like it's being used often anyways...

if you've ever seen the lag (server, not player) that comes into play when 20 people are fighting in a pub flagroom you'll know why this is a bad idea

I kinda have the feeling this would just end up in games where one terr dies within the first minute of the first flagroom battle and then there's a cram for the rest of the game. Sounds boring to me but sure, no harm in testing it on ?go base.
