    40 fired from Spiritcrushers

    150.. and 150 players can make few new squads.

    Then ofc Mute, Hit etc had to kick 5-15 players..

    Enough for me. You can keep whining/trolling.
    I wanna see how this change effects on TWD. ofc if it dont work we can allways go back to "good old times", cant we?

    But I do happen to see ATLEAST the last 300 people fired from squads who haven't rejoined a squad yet, so there are already 300 people that we know of if not more who aren't on a squad. Why aren't these people creating squads? Why aren't these people joining squads?

    According to your math belg, the 300+ people on the free agent list on twd.org should have already created 10 new squads by now!

    And thats why you are fucking retarded.

    I am using the math you provided belgerath, I wasn't pulling numbers out of my ass I was taking the numbers you pulled out of your ass to try to make a roster cap a good idea and actually did the real math on them.

    5 squads had about 300-450 players, well 5 x 35 = 175.. I don't see 125-275 players magically appearing on "on the move" do you? If so please show me where.

    those 5 squad had about 300-450 players. so, if u take 350 players, put 35 to one squad ->tadaa u got 10 squad. not so hard, even to idiot troller like u.

    Let me do the real math for you.

    5 x (according to you 60-90) Which I know is a lie since I checked and some of them only had around 40-50 but lets just say each squad over 35 had.. 60 players.

    Thats 5 x 25 which is actually 125, which is four new squads, but then you have to account for lets say 40 of those who are inactive, 40 of those who are newbies and won't join another squad because good players won't give them a chance and they won't have the chance to learn from quality leadership, and take out another 40 who will join one of the other however many squads who don't have 35 yet. No new squads made from this.

    5x73, so on average these 5 squads had 73 players over the 35 cap?

    These 5 squads had 108 players on their roster each?

    2. ofc when those squad had like 60-90 players. lets see 5x73=365players. Cap 35 -> 365/35 =10. So those 5 squads can make 10 squads.

    Also, we had 300 people log just for TWDT this passed weekend.

    And Belg, it takes a LOT more than just signing a squad up to lead one.

    Perhaps one way to aid recruitment for new squads would be to make a recruitment sub-forum for TWD? A place where squads can create a thread and have people sign up for 'try-outs' or a place where players can create a thread and say what they're looking for out of this game and out of a squad that they are looking to join. After creating this sub-forum, you can then have an hourly advert in pub such as:

    "Played pub for a while now? Interested in breaking into the competitive side of Trench Wars? Look for a squad to play TWD with @ ________________________"

    are we going to take a look back after a few weeks (maybe a month tops) have passed to see if there's any quantifiable evidence that this cap is increasing activity and total number of squads and spreading the talent and all that happy horseshit?

    Heh, I was staff 2004 and I've been twdop and smod for years now.
    Back then we had about 500 players every weekend, things change and we have to adjust.
    This roster limitation has originally come from players and we decided to go with it.
    I am certainly not that smart that I would invent something like this myself.
    Like belge said, there was 5 squads over that limit and some of you guys flipped even when you were in squads which had players under the limit already.
