I think this still has affected squads like spiritcrushers greatly for the negative. And its harder to get bd's going. Even portal is slowing down in basing activity! I think 40 is the perfect number. Little more room for inactive players that are friends and to have inner squad competition for the league squads where 35 people is the limit.

TWD has been extremely active after the first reset repeatedly every year. People create new squads, people log in to play more etc.

I think the cap's success is undeniable. TWD is way more active (it's never this active in the off-season) and more squads have started.
I take back any doubts I had.

It's hard to say whether it's the roster cap or just the reset that sparked more activity. (if there even is more? stats?) Right now, having been a part of running both -Tenure- and Tenure and merging them, I'd say 40 would be a bit better to give more room to play with. I don't know whether we'd be wishing for 45 if the cap was 40, though.

i thought the main reason for this was to increase both activity and squad count since they both seem related. otherwise it would just be the same number of squads and more or less the same activity level, and just the same people playing.

In the end this isn't about how many new squads are made, its about increasing the overall activity of TWD.
So do you guys have hard numbers/graphs etc. that you are keeping track of so we can actually see the effect that the roster cap is having?

but is there someone who has calculated the average number of twd games over x days of time, and is ready to compare it with the activity over the next x days?
