The New Season of TWD begins
TWD ladder has been reset on Wednesday the 19th of October and the new season of TWD has begun!
Here is a more informative list of the changes that you can expect from TWD with some helpful feedback from the community.

The season (or until next reset) will last for 120 days (four months), The community were 50/50 for 3 months or 4 months but as their are quite a few new changes, These 120 days will give us time incase of any complications along the road as this is our first season with ratings and later on borrowing. The squad with the most rating in each individual division will be the winner of the TWDD/J/B season, no end of season special games, knockouts or playoffs will occur in the spirit that the community wished to keep this purely a TWD format and keep its distinction from TWL and TWDT.
The squad that wins will be awarded medals or achievement to players which will be visible on the TWD website, provided they have participated on that squad for at least three games (any division) every week for a month. Their will be some discretion on this due to real life engagements etc, so if you have any reason why you can’t make the last month of the division and have had an “active” part on your squad during the rest of the season please contact the TWD team.
Starting this season, the player with the highest rating from each division will be awarded with a new achievement. Please read your Messages for progress updates. We will need your input to making it all work.
The division will run until the end of the Sunday on 19th February 2017. Where we will declare the winners and most top rated players
We wish to promote activity in the division, and to prevent teams winning a large amount of games and sitting pretty at the top of the ladder the active rating system reduces squads rating over a period of time, so if you're at the top of a division you have to defend your right to be so by still making a effort to play games. If squads are inactive on the TWD ladder which is has happened previously, a good example being if potenza was in the division and had a number of games then Siaxis or someone came up with a idea to remake Force and the majority of players then joined Force leaving a few players who have not logged on in months on the roster, rather than Potenza being left as a shell on the twd ladder, a captain will be spoken to by a member of TWD staff to ask wherever they still wish the squad to remain on the TWD ladder, secondly if they do wish to remain, they must attempt to increase their activity. If another week goes by again, they will then again be prompted to increase their activity, if failing to increase activity and we have not received any reply from the captain and a further week goes on, the squad will be removed from the ladder but still remain on twd website in terms of rostering.. However I would encourage captains to dissolve squads if they no longer have interest in them to make this process as easy as possible and in the best interest of the division.
You will now be able to select four captains on your roster as previously discussed, but please choose with care who you want to be your captains, as I would hate to see a squad dissolved at the late stages of the division due a rogue captain.
Player borrowing will still be available in its current from which if the two squads both agree to borrow in the game, it will be unrated at this present time with all restrictions lifted and any amount of borrowed of players can be borrowed Perhaps a good training ground for new teams to learn team synergy.
Rated player borrowing which will be introduced later on during the season so the feedback from players can be put into a working system.
Rated player borrowing will work as follows but may be tweaked until the time of its launch
Two squads will both agree to enable player borrowing in a match
Then when a squad attempts to borrow a particular player it then will be sent to the opposing squad to agree.
Squads are allowed to only borrow 1 player for TWDD/TWJD and up to 2 players for TWBD.
You will not be permitted to borrow from a opposing squad during rated player borrowing
The ratings earned from a borrowed game were discussed at the twd meeting, the majority of players present were in favour of a penalty for borrowing a player and were split between ¾ of the earned rating and ½ of the earned rating so I have compromised with a ⅔ of rating which is 66%.
We feel this way players will only use borrowing system is desperate times of need and that this won’t compromise as quoted by Pressure “squad comradery” or the enjoyments of being part of a squad and steers it away from being Wbduel/Javduel and Base and will still feel like TWD.
I would be lying if I didn’t expect to see at least one bump in the road as we move forwards however yet I again I ask your patience in this as we “the TWD team” are absolutely committed to moving forward than backwards and to make sure you can enjoy TWD as much as we do.

. It seems like Mario kart where ur in first position and then bam ur suddenly last before becoming in first position a few secs later. Seems too unstable.
