And btw Jackie, even though you won them, that doesn't mean you still wouldn't be afraid of Melee/Provoke/another squad.

With Spores I've tried to keep the thing as RB had last year, just play against your opponent, whatever squad that is, do your best and learn from the win/defeat. We've got a 1-2 rec until now, but I think we've learned more from the matches than we would've learned from playing ->!ElITeNeWB!eZ!<-.

Why is this discussion necesarry?

RB is a good squad. For this time i wanted to stay squadless, and refused every offer made. Then one time i decided to join a squad. RB looked the best and fitting for me so I asked Paul if i could join.
RB has potential with good people that are willing and fun to be with. I didnt want to start at the top directly, thats one of the reasons i joined RB.

RB has grown to a competetive squad and is probably going to make it into TWL. Not because we refuse to play all the "big" squads, or cheating/tricking other squads. If i found out that this is happening, the ?squadleave command will be typed by me in no time.

Every squad has his reasons sometimes not to play a match. That can be for competitive reasons, not enough people online, not enough people willing to play, you name it!
That doesnt mean RB is a pussy squad. I believe every squad have his tactical choises. However, not all these choises are made public.
Dont judge a squad over one incident. RB isnt a squad that has a bad reputation over the whole line. Lets leave it that way!

I'll field this one K2, is it because they came on some time during your game? Let's wait until something worth talking about actually happens before posting crap like past losses and everything else on this thread (except what I've said).

It's TWBD, not TWBL. The matches aren't fixed, and so you are kind of free to play whoever you want.
In Incuria, at times, we have more than 8 people around, but that doesn't mean we are confident enough to play any squad at that moment.
Since their doesn't seem to be a run on the open spaces in TWL-B, there isn't that much of an competition going on and TWD might be reset another time before spots are given.

So basicly all these games are for fun or trying out, and some squads use this time to build up their squad and make it ready for TWL.
When a squad doesn't think it's fun to play versus your squad they have every right not to play you. You might think about why those squads don't want to play you.. and don't think they are scared of your 3lit3v3t squad.
When a squad is still trying out a bit and still in a building stage, playing against the top squads isn't going to help much.
Ofcourse you can't always expect to be on the same level in 3 months as a squad that is around for years.
So what good does it do you playing them if you know what level you are.. Ofcourse it might be refreshing if you think you are already a top 5 squad, but if you know you are still at starting stage you don't need this.

Last season people paniced that people were milking lowsy squads to get high ranking. But the ranking method works in such a way this is quite impossible.
When you play lowsy squads at start you get a nice pointadvantage, but soon enough your -and their ranking- will be at such a point that playing them won't give you any points to keep up with the serious squads.
If you keep playing the squads around your own ranking or above, a win give you so much more points.
It was seen last TWD with squads like Disoblige, they could stay in Top 5 with like only a tenth amount of games of mediocre squads, just by only playing the other Top 5 squads.
