TWDT Season 31: Official Ratings

Here are the official ratings for this upcoming season. There is still room to discuss and make some last minute adjustments, thus feel free to post your opinions in here or through our official channels on Discord.

Ratings will be finalized very soon as we are exploring the option to start the drafting process early to give captains more time to familiarize themselves with the new draft format changes.

For base: There were a few changes in the 8-10 star range that ultimately don’t matter since there’s a new system for adding players so I was just reviewing the range that would affect low stars in the lineup. Here are my recommendations based on prior performance. It doesn’t make sense to me to inflate some of these players when the lineups will be more dependent on these guys.

Banzi 8 -> 7.5
Hellzno! 8 -> 7.5
Jessup 7.5 -> 7
Dad 6.5 -> 7
Clark Kentaro 8 -> 7.5
Rampage 8 -> 7.5
Raazi 8 -> 7.5

Warbirds comments:

Hercules, is almost certainly an 8.5. Pretty sure I've seen him drop 20 and 18 in an MMRD game within the past 6 months.
If I recall correct, Creature has been dominating ship 1 as well. Would put him at 9.5
And Dak has been super dominant, finishing multiple recent seasons with the #1 or #2 K ratio - would put him at a 10.
Didn't Banzi also dominate last season? Probably would put him at a 9.
Morph also seems like a 9.5 ...he did clutch round 3 of last seasons final with like 15-6. He is also one of the most active players from what I've seen.

Side note: excited to see if/when 10* Reaver arrives.

Not too many things pop out on quick glance, there are some odd things done with some terrs but I get it. Ratings are still important to get right since we may still use the previous system in the future. It would also be nice if teams were picked in MMR based off them, but that's for another conversation, anyways...

-rough was fine at 85 why bump him up to 90, 1.28 kd with 2 teks in 7 games last dt, rabbit! at 80 is a better under spider.
-sarger not worth 10 anymore for some reason?
-tiny fine at 75 didn't need to be bumped to 80
-might be an argument to bring mean gene down to 80
-did menel need a bump to 90? small amount of teks/kills and weak rpd, statwise he's not there (yes i know stats arent everything)
-heaven, cintra, spooked are all rated lower than me in terr, this feels weird.

-my wb is fucking terrible, im stuck in a low resolution and should be lowered.

-jabra top 10 in kills, outkilled iron survivor by 10 in with only 1 more game played. bump from 80 to 85
-ff/drose was fine at 90, why lower to 85?

Also what's up with maketso? He was like 85 95 90, those are HUGE drops to 75 80 80, direct yourself to my carreers sheet and look at his stats, these are BUSTED ratings the man has about 60% win rate in all 3 divisions. (link in sig at bottom of post)

I didn't do any of the current ratings, but things that I agree with so far would be (in order of importance):

maketso should likely be 8 / 9 / 8.5 as otherwise he might be a bit broken given recent history and performances.
multiple players could be lowered to 7.5 rating bracket in basing such as Rampage, Raazi and Kentaro. Banzi and HellzNo! did already quite well last season with their current rating, so not sure if there's a need to lower their rating.
Dad was decent as a 6.5 last season so could be bumped up as well, and more likely to get playtime that way.

Terrs across the board got nerfed from 10 that explains cape/ogron
mythril, while an amazing warbird, isn't quite a 10* shark. 9.5 is fair.
9.5 is fair for auto and rainbow and jurassic
your ability to tek makes you a better spider than sarger imo, but as most of us agreed he should have been 10 and got bumped back up.
