1. brookus - this guy can do a whole lot with no team around him. i haven't come across a guy harder to kill in base, and i've played against most of the best.
2. mythrandir - anybody who can put up spider-sized kills in a terr gets props.

these guys are head and shoulders above the rest, not much doubt about them. . .

3. warportal - he doesn't stand out in one real statistic to me, but he's great overall.
4. bram - his name is shorter so it seems like there is alot less to aim at or something. this guy's annoying in terr.
5. bloodzombie - if he wasn't on pallies (and overshadowed by myth) he'd be a grade A terr. instead, he just kicks ass in every ship.

other ppl:

pasco - holy shit, this guy can lag and he knows how to use it. always hard to kill him just cuz he eats everything. if he can play (with the lag limits) he's a good terr to have on your team.

2d - see pasco

phren - i'm gonna hope he can pick up his pants and just take the cakewalk this season. go my squad!


note. no offence meant, but most of those spastic guys aren't able to hold their team afloat on their own. they have a wicked game plan, and wicked sharks, their terr pretty much just sits around and watches. playing against them in ?go base (at least) has often left me disappointed.

most of these guys are based on how hard it is for me to kill them with my grey ship.

I don't think there is a single terrier that can keep their team afloat on their own. Look at brookus; most would agree that he is at least top 3 terriers in the game today; but with a pretty lackluster supporting team, their squad really doesn't get anywhere these days.

I have to stick up for PL here. I would agree that he doesn't play to his max potential in ?go base games, but who really does ALL the time? He does a lot more "moves" and tricks in TWBD games than he does in ?go base, I'll tell you that right now. You'd be surprised with some of the things he's come up with.

As far as I'm aware, he's made it to the high 80's in a TWL game, I don't know if he's actually broken 100 or not.

I do think that bosshawk is pretty predictable in his terr, specialy in flagroom fights. I could tell you right now what he is gonna do next game he terrs ( figure of speach, ofcourse I cant tell you, I just think he is too predictable )

Well Galleleo, warportal is supposed to be pretty predictable in terr as well, but everyone holds him in very high regard.

IMHO the team you have factors into things alot, for example Mythrandir would never get away with allowing himself to drop to <1000 nrg with bullets, if his spiders got destroyed all the time, and a bunch of players often seem ordinary when they aren't surrounded by a really good team. And also, its common that people lose faith in terrs after just one bad game, for example I saw a Myth game vs. Spastic where Pallies got hammered, and my opinion of him dropped since he would die frequently when attacking cram. Now even if in every other game Mythrandir gets more kills than two of his spiders and dies less than 5 times, that one game is still going to color my opinion of him.

Also, I noticed that everyone here seems to feel that WPE is better than ajaxee, when my opinion is the opposite. But this could very well be coloured by the fact that when WPE was terring, we sucked hard, while ajaxee got to play with a better team around him. Having said this my opinion on which one is better usually depends on the last game I was in, since a terr can die 2 times one game and own all with bursts, and 25 the next, and yet play at the same level of skill in both.

U cant argue that Brookus is the best terr w/ the worst team. I dont konw if any of the other top terrs could do what he does w/ that kind of team. Pure_luck mite be a good terr and i think he is 1 of the tops, but u can say he's only good bc of his team, which mite jsut be. U guys throw a buncha guy sin terr in TWD games and they all do just as well.

Brookus mite not carry them to a TWLB title, but he is the only reason a-s gets into twl and the games they win its usualy bc of him, so technicaly he does carry em.
