    Welcome to TWL Season 7

    Hey Everyone!

    Here is the list you've been waiting for! Congratulations to all squads who qualified for TWL Season 7! For all you squads who are now invited to Trench Wars Leagues, one squad captain only, will need to send us a confirmation e-mail to trenchwarsleagues@yahoo.com to confirm your desire to participate! Please include your squad name in the subject line. Any e-mails sent with a blank subject line are immediately erased. Again, welcome to TWL! We look forward to having a great season!

    Ünited Stätes Toughens Image With Umlauts WASHINGTON, DC—In a move designed to make the United States seem more "bad-assed and scary in a quasi-heavy-metal manner," Congress passed a bill Monday changing the nation's name to the Ünited Stätes of Ämerica. "Much like Mötley Crüe and Motörhead, the Ünited Stätes is not to be messed with," said Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK). An upcoming redesign of the Ämerican flag will feature the new name in burnished silver wrought in a jagged, gothic font and bolted to a black background. A new national anthem is also in the works, to be written by composer Glenn Danzig and tentatively titled "Howl Of The She-Demon."

        Congratulations on making it into TWL-Basing! The following squads are invited to join Anti-Scrub, Disoblige, Mambo, Pallies, and defending TWLB Cup Champions Spastic!

        Rejected Basers -acceptance confirmed 4-26-04
        Incuria -acceptance confirmed 4-26-04
        sk8 -acceptance confirmed 4-26-04
        BasingCrew -acceptance confirmed 4-26-04
        Syndicate -acceptance confirmed 4-26-04
        -FINAL- -acceptance confirmed 4-26-04

        whiterabbits -acceptance confirmed 4-26-04
        Melee* -acceptance confirmed 4-26-04

        *Tanked will not be invited into TWLB as a season starting squad. Today's occurances of Tanked petitioning higher ranked TWBD squads to swap wins in TWJD, so as to boost the chances of both squads qualifying for league divisions, was the reason behind this decision. Tanked will be allowed to qualify for any open positions made by a TWLB squad that has dropped out after the start of TWLB Week 1.
