yeah yeah, i know its only for LD and it sucks compared to Nick's thread but i dont give a fuck.

Based on what i think the conferences should be and a 10 game regular season with some interconference games (like last season):

Conference 1:
1. -Final- 10-0
2. Grapevine 8-2
3. Shriek 8-2
4. Dragonguard 5-5
5. Rapid 4-6
6. Pirates 3-7
7. British Squad 2-8
8. Verone 0-10

Conference 2:
1. Syndicate 9-1
2. Pallies 9-1
3. Disoblige 7-3
4. Sk8 5-5
5. Egyptian 5-5
6. Ancients 3-7
7. Melee 1-9
8. Avalonian 1-9

Quarterfinals:
Syndicate vs Dragonguard
-Final- vs Sk8
Grapevine vs Disoblige
Pallies vs Shriek

Semis:
Syndicate vs Grapevine
-Final- vs Pallies

Finals:
Syndicate vs Pallies (I wont predict it).

i disagree with you anyways:
in my setup i dont seed across the whole league, only across conferences, there is no point in seeding the entire league 1-16, because the teams all have much different schedules. you compare the teams to the teams that have all played eachother, so then:

there are two #1 seeds, final and synd
two #2 seeds, pallies and gv

as long as you have a #1 vs a #2 seed in each side of the semifinals its fair, and in my opinion its a far better playoff setup to avoid having conference teams re-play eachother before the final if no upsets occurr which require that to happen.

maybe because we're in TWLD now... it's a whole different thing than TWDD. People generally look at the top lineups and overall skill of the squad when deciding these things. In TWDD, you can catch a squad on a bad day with far less than their best lineup in. If you beat Syndicate in a TWDD game, for example, and they played Rough, Psymorph, Raples, and Amputate ... an all jav lineup (because afterall, it would have only been TWD) vs you and you somehow managed to still beat them, you would be in for a real suprise to see that in TWLD when you faced them, you'd run into a completely different lineup.

In other words, beating someone in TWD means little to nothing when predicting TWL matchups.

Castromarx really should have programmed it so any twdd game he plays in you don't get credit for winning.

But yeah, if the conferences really existed like how escalate set them up I'd pick Avalonian to go 3-7. Which still might not make you happy, but it's better than 1-9 Possibly 4-6 or 2-8 depending on who they played in crossover.
