-F- did have issues showing starters (no raspi, no sika) - Nickname
Rofl, all our warbirds were here more or less, including Raspi and Sika, they just don't have to play every game. Pretty much all our warbirds are solid.
Awesome> i'm 20.. and definately bigger than you... where do you live, if i ever take a vacation there i'll come beat you up 7:Ripper> hahah

death row> just throw in a disclaimer: drunk lofty, cannot be responsible for drunk lofty's opinion.
I disagree with basically everything you're saying, but guess what.... it doesn't matter. You like spybreak, and spybreak is on your team, and you're winning games. All is right with the world. Why are you so worked up that people don't like the way he plays?
So now that the dust has settled, I believe we can all agree that no, Spybreak does not meet the general definition of a camper, and that the tactics he uses are most benefitial to a team. Brookus threatened to to kick my ass if I kick more ass so I'll let it go unless anyone has lingering objections.
this shit makes me laugh so hard. first granting yourself credit for leading all of us ignorant people to agree with you, and then giving yourself props for kicking ass in a message board argument. classic retard status has been granted.
There exists a fine line between hard partying and destitution.
Jerome it's not worth fighting over how good Spybreak is. He helps you guys win games and he's a big part of A-S, he's your friend, and that's all there is too it. I'm sure he could care less what people think of him, and even if he did, I don't think he'd want you running around trying to prove to everyone how good he is. Just let him play his game, there's 6 weeks left a lot can happen, especially with the very hard schedule in front of you.
what are you trying to prove about our spiders by posting that anyways. look at the stats, ave spider +/- on our team was 21, on yours it was 20, and thats including the fact that you played 5 spids and we played an inexperienced jav. "pre-season" excuse my ass, yeah we took the game really seriously playing spam in jav and im just using the pre-season thing as an excuse...k....just like pallies playing 3 wbs they were trying super hard too.
On the Mr. Spam statement. He has more logged jav time in TWLB than the majority of subspace
The only TWOTIME TWLJ All-Star and TWLB All-Star who never played a game.

And it's good to see some controversie from my article - i must be doing something right.

really? before my time then, i havent seen him in base jav once since i started playing tw except for that preseason game.
i don't even see him in twlj or twjd anymore now (only once thus far) :/

This sounds solid in theory, but in the actual games, all I see on my kill messages are Spy's kills. What happens is when he pours his bullets into the FR, sharks repel the bullets every which way. I've found myself pinned by spiders alot, only to be saved by a stray bullet from Spy, or any spider's, guns. Now, what if I was the spider that fired the crucial shot to kill the terr? You see, Spybreak! isn't the main crucial guy- he saves the crucial guy's ass so he can do something crucial.
Maybe you wouldn't be getting pinned down so much in the first place if all your spiders were pushing to begin with. With an extra spider pushing thats one extra guy on your team that the enemies have to target, therefore creating less pressure on yourself, meaning better opportunity to kill and survive longer and you wouldn't have to rely on stray shots to save your ass.
See, too many variables. What if the camper killed the sharks? Argument can go either way.
Campers will most likely kill the sharks when their reps have already been used, not often will a good shark die from a far off shot after only using 1 or 2 reps, and at that point when all the reps are used the shark doesn't care if he dies. Playing against good sharks they will take turns cycling, so thats exactly what they want you to do, let them use all 3 reps then kill them one at a time, and those are the kinda kills that stad padding spiders love All pushing spiders on the other hand can put more pressure on the sharks, making them use their reps quicker and giving them a greater possibility of dying without using all their reps which creates a gap in the shark cycle. Not only that but with all the spiders pushing you give the opposing team less time to move around for positioning and gives you more control of the area.
Also, a camping spider limits the amount of attach kills you can get because thats one less spider putting pressure on the terr which makes it much easier for the opposing terr to move around and much easier for its defense to protect him from just 4 spiders instead of 5. Also yes one spider makes a huge difference in pushing.
See, this might apply to any camper- but not spybreak. Spy's one of the the most modest, unselfish spiders around. He knows that staying alive is the best thing he can do for his terr. Spy WAS a terr, so he knows what a terr wants.
Im sure there are a lot of terr's jerome that dislike one of their spiders to be sitting back by them and would rather have them push. Terrs have different styles of play so I don't see how you can make the assumption that just because spybreak was a terr at some point he seems to know how every terr wants him to play, I think maybe you should of said "he knows what brookus wants" instead of "he knows what a terr wants". I know for one 2d on Elusive would rather have all of the spiders pushing rather then having one stay back. I don't know if he's selfish or not, im sure he believes his style helps his team in the best possible way, and im sure that anti-scrub is so used to it that his style is accommadated to the squad by now.
If they're non-crucial, then noone would care, meaning that noone would complain. But they are complaining. Oh, and Spy's TeK's are 2,2,0,1. Last time I checked, a terr dying was pretty crucial. Even vs. Syndicate, he got 2.
Pretty irrelevent there Jerome, for one those TeK's could of been just cramming and not in a FR battle. Anyone can get TeK's in a cram since they're all doing the same thing in that case. Also even if some of those TeK's were in FR isn't it likely the reason he got those TeK's was cuz the rest of the spiders did the work of getting the opposing team cornered or something with spy in the back lobbin shots down there and picking up the tek? Even camping spiders can get TeK's, doesn't mean they did the work of setting up that opportunity so that a guy in the back can lob shots and get the credit for it.
Spy puts a shitload of pressure on the other team. Do you know how annoying it is to be dying left and right and not being able to hit the killer? I'd go nuts.
People die left and right anyway, its twlb. Doesn't matter if you can't hit him all the way in the back, while he's taking shots from back there you can whoop on his teammates infront of you. Just hopefully sharks are doing their job and repping as much as possible.
As a afternote, might I add that they've raised the spawn timer to 4 seconds, making staying alive all the more useful
Staying alive for 1 player, at the sacrifice of the other 4 spiders. Now the 4 other spiders are going to be dying much easier if they push by themselves and will have to wait out that time much more often then if they had that 5th spider up there with them helping.
I'm on a squad with brookus, erathia, exotic, nosey, jr5.
Anyways, I like to debate. and being that I am a debater, I like to do what most debaters do: BS. Most, if not all of that was pretty much made up on the spot. Once my position was dig, I stuck with it. So yeah, I'm sure my arguments have flaws and such but what can I say. So I get some entertainment out of what was supposed to be a boring, non-entertaining monday, and hey, I might as well piss off enough people to keep me occupied until tonight.

Nah, we get outspidered alot. Plus I die in the first run anyways. The thing is, spy kills alot, but they can't kill him cos he stays alive. So he's distracting 2-3 spiders to pretty much hunt him, giving our 4 spids the advantage over there 3 spids

I'm about to throw something at the wall you guys keep assuming a normal camping spider, which I TOTALLY AGREE with you on that they suck. But this is SPYBREAK!
Also, a camping spider limits the amount of attach kills you can get because thats one less spider putting pressure on the terr which makes it much easier for the opposing terr to move around and much easier for its defense to protect him from just 4 spiders instead of 5. From my experience there's always a spider or two wandering around cleaning up the rest of the FR, so theres the unique possibility of at the most 3 spids are pressuring terr.

Ahh, so now you see why assuming is bad. You keep throwing arguments at me that have NOTHING to do with the way Spy plays, you just assume :/

Teamwork gets things done! Like terrkills. The reason Spy plays like he does is because we let him- we don't mind taking the fall for him, dying a few extra times- he's doing something we couldn't do as well as him.
Going home will edit when i get there to do the rest.

When I saw that Mitch was playing in that LD, it seemed pretty obvious how seriously your squad was taking that match.
