TWLB Playoffs

2.06 - All Trench Wars Leagues divisions will have a full regular season and will feature single-elimination playoffs. The exact structures for these will be determined by the number of participating Squads in Trench Wars Leagues, which will be determined by demand and competitiveness by the League Operators.

Please decide whether it'll be the top 4 from each conference or the top 8 from both conferences. I'd like a reply from a TWL Op only.

i hope the playoffs are cross conference, becuase i would much rather face someone from the opposin conference of a-s, then an opponent in our conference.

There is more competition in our conference, and it is fairer that the twl ops pick the top 8 from both conferences. The TWL Ops I suspect made their best effort to make each conference equal in strength, but very apparently that is not the result.

considering the way the conferences have panned out, cross conferance playoffs would create the best twlb final.

Top 4 base teams from each divisions get in the playoffs or something, right? The TWL-B divisions are so lopsided, loaded with the real good teams in one division while one or two in the other division. I think the division winners should get a free pass in, but ater that, it should be the next best 6 teams to get in. Weaknesses in divisions should not be rewarded... overall performances should; that goes for every league, TWL-D, TWL-J.

Anyways, thats just my two cents.

It is top 4 from each conference as it stands. However, I agree that this might not provide the best gameplay availible, resulting in some squads that deserve playoffs more in one conference be shunted while a less proficient squad makes it in in the other.

This is really about whether we want squads to retain the oppertunity to make playoffs well into the season, or be fucked right around week 4. The conferences have kind of kept diso afloat in TWLB, but as of our loss today we're pretty much fucked.

Well, one of the features of this stupid top 4 conference thing is that theres a fair chance that the 2-4 whiterabbits will make it in over any of Spastic, Final, RB, or who knows even A-S/Pallies which all have at least 5-2 rec and the only eastern conference team with 5-2 is Mambo.

Something's wrong when the top 2 squads are in West Conf and then of the 4 tied for 2nd place 3 are in West and 1 is in East.

Thats just how the cookie crumbles k2. Stop bitchin about it and start "upsetting" some teams. If u watch nba or any other pro sport both conferences arent ever equal. U just have to go with it and win games that u shouldnt win. Everyone cant make playoffs. 4 From each conferences and keep them conference vs conference till finals. Thats how it should be done and thats why i thougth we had conferences in the 1st place. You will neve rhave exactly equal conferences so someone will eventualy be screwd either way.

WR has Diso/mambo/incuria/BC left on there schedule. They could very well go 3-1 or 4-0 in that and end up 6-4 or 6-5 in the end. Both conferences wil be putting 4 very competative squads into the mix anyway.

If u look @ the conferences and how ppl were predicting b4 the season then botha re pretty equal. I mean who would of guessed shriek would get dq'd midseason? or Diso being a total downfall this season? U cant account for that when making divisions or conferences.
