TWL Hall of Fame

Would love for more people to be added to this Hall Of Fame.

I'm glad such legends like Burnt, Ease, and warportal still play but there are many more people that should be inducted and recognized for their skill as a player or captain.

There are people like RaCka and Mythril who have won multiple championships on multiple teams and done so in multiple TW Leagues.

Fierce has won 6 TWLD and twice back-to-back.

What do you guys think?

If you repeat a lie long enough and put it on the official TWL website it becomes the truth I guess. There is no Hall of Fame, this list is the equivalent of Hellrazor making a forum post.

It would have to be done properly by a committee. Obviously, a decent amount of players on that list would still be there, but it's not a Hall of Fame.

agreed with crome, it's long overdue that it's updated. possibly compeltely overhauled to set a standard of what HoF really is.... difficulty was alwasy figuring out who decides that and how to go about it

lol Ogron, frankly I think your on point with your statement. Also lol at the "standard", if you look at plenty HoF, many times you can wonder why this or that guy are in the list. And they all share a similarity, being here in the early days of that sport or whatever else. This is maybe a shitty HoF, I don't know, but it"s been the official one for many years. Also who knows, the Siege crew back after all this time, maybe their place in this old game HoF has played a part on their will to see what this game become? I know my pov worth nothing but I don't want it to be rewrite, whatever it worth. However the presentation of this is horrendous. Also apparently those "phase inducted" is fake, replace it with year inducted, remove the number of titles and replace it with a description of the player made by a specialist of this ship in this period. Many of them could be done by Crome himself as he seems interested. In the commentary do a mix of what kind of player he is (gamestyle) and his history in trench wars (so including titles).

Right now of the list we have : Burnt, Crome, Banzi, Blood, Warportal, Ease and Rough. We get a committee? Ogron keep talking about Henry adding himself in another zone, that way nobody can add himself.

Rough once you said you wanted to do something about it I remember, please catch the 6 others and do it :wideeyed: no need to hurry tho

Yeah this list is a joke. Some people definitely belong on there but if this is a skills-based HoF I can't help but lol at some of the names. The squads I'm mostly alright with although I do not remember TW Elites ever even being a thing.

I hearby nominate WolvenCreed for squad HoF. They only have one less title than TW Elites.

Hall of fame is just a dick-sucking exercise. People who play every day deserve more respect.

I dunno about all this HOF stuff. It seems there will always be lists popping up so if that's happening I do like the idea of having a description of contributions to go along with it rather than phase or event titles. There were HOF pub players, elim players, league players, event refs, programmers, web developers, map makers etc. It's a community. There will always be tons of bias with all the lists. I do enjoy reading about tw history and its cool that folks are working to document stuff. Some stuff is lost to history already.
