The predictions reflected a lot of folks who simply chose their own squad to win, so everyone should keep this in mind. It was not supposed to be a competition, look at this week's Dis vs. Final predictions as proof. People are predicting what they WANT to see happen, as opposed to predicting what they think will actually happen.

Diso has been playing well in base lately, but so has -F-. The only real difference is: -F- has been beating stronger opponents while Diso has not. -F- also slammed diso pretty hard earlier.

Not saying Diso can't win, because anything is possible. I just don't see it happening though.

There is an old saying, "the race doesn't always go to the swiftest, nor the battle to the strongest, but that is the way to bet". So I guess my point was that although Final might indeed be a stronger squad and be most likely to win, submitting a prediction is not risking anyone's money. Therefore it is easy to predict from an emotional basis, as opposed to logic.

Now here comes the part you can flame me for.....Are the current predictions for the Diso vs. Final game logical? No, I don't think they are, but I do think that they are revealing. Why are so many people pulling for -F- to lose? Well, I suppose that one could say that because -F- is so good, there is a lot of resentment. I am sure that this is a part of it, but I think it also has to do with the level of arrogance that some -F- members seem to enjoy demonstrating often.

Let me go ahead and save some time for the rebuttal...

It is possible to be the best in something and not shove it down everyone's throat. In fact, it is possible to be the best at something and still be a decent person.

Yes, I will give it a try. It is a royal pain in the ass since I have to guess at the old prediction links to find the info, and then cut and paste each prediction page into Excel. But I made a macro the strips out the extraneous pasted info and makes it somewhat easier. Please give me a few days and I’ll see what I can do.
