For the benefit of everyone else, there were two round 2 games, as the first game was restarted when A-S was 14:30 due to bot failure in putting Pallies shark RyanG in after a lagout.

I managed to find this from Nickname, and considering he went on to predict we'd take the championship in Week 7 or something, I thought it was worth dredging up.

He predicted we'd finish 7th and lose to Spastic in the first round of playoffs.

A-S is back on top of there game, sorta. They’ll have no problem qualifying for TWLB, unless they do something really moronic. A solid base lineup consisting of Brookus or Melufa in terr, any one of a number of guys in shark and spids and jr5 in the jav (if he’s still there, which he probably won’t be). A-S might have some internal problems come league time, as they have a roster of a massive 36 players to play in only 1 league. That’s a lot of bench warmers. A-S will also have a problem finding someone to warbird or jav (if jr5 leaves - even though they have a great warbird in Rocket_ I haven’t seen him in years – literally) A-S has plenty of talented people who could fill the void, but no standout pre-made stars. That may or may not hurt them, depending on if with this new chance someone can step up. Watch for Holydude to really pound the living shit out of you this season. Ante-Scroob should finish midpack this season, possibly sneaking into playoffs and a first round exit.

Nick actually went on to predict the outcome of the playoffs. Aside from predicting our first one out he did accurately say that Pallies would go to (and win) the final over Diso. Rand then said that this was nonsense and Pallies would never go this far.

Pure's Prediction (said we'd finish 9th though he said we might get as high as 4th): Brook's team could be better this time around than last year. Mel at terr though i dunno about that. If he terrs, they have better sharking but he is like the same type of terr as the RB terrs/jard and necro. Could be dangerous in real game situations.
Top players- Brookus,holydude
Strengths-Solid team if they get their sharks online, good sharking, good terr
Weakness-Overall skill of spiders has always been brook's downfall. That and activity of top guys when games come around.

Galleleo said we'd finish 5th or 6th: These guys always seem to get underrated. But you should be very carefull when you play a squad like A-S, with players like Brookus and Holydude they are always a serious contender and you should watch out when they cross your road. A-S likes to be the underdog in matches, but when it comes to flagroom fights brookus is one diffecult bug to kill. Underrating these guys while going in a match could mean your downfall.

lunch3 (which squad is he on right now again?) predicted we wouldn't even qualify for playoffs and finish in the "Second Tier" of basers.

Stabwound sez about A-S: Looking stronger lately, mostly because of the new aqusitions. I'm not sure that all of them will stay, though, and they really can't afford to play anything but their absolute best lineup in TWLB. I don't think they will make playoffs, but if they do, they will be eliminated in the first round.

Zerzera also sez : From out of nowhere they seem to be back again. Anti-scrub was very pale last TWLB. Mainly because they were one of the squads that didn't accept the cram as a winning tactic, while it was the league of the cram.
With the pickups they made this season, and the activity and drive, they might be just in time to get into leagues. Nonetheless I think they will need some more growing during leagues. This might lose them points in the first half of the leagues. Wether they can make up the late start all depends on how much the players can grow.
With brookus they have my favorite timerace terrier. No matter what team he has, if he only gets a little support he can keep the flag like no other terrier. Where the normal point games his style -and lack of support- would be their weakness, the pointrace are their strenght.
Now I just see they lost Redlights again, that is a painfull loss.
Best players: brookus, holydude, adamant
Final position: 4/6

This all makes me feel even giddier now.

Great job either way, anti-scrub totally deserves this win. Pallies- what can I say, ya'll had a fantastic season and finals in two leagues is nothing to cry about. We'll see you in January.

MUCH MUCH MUCH respect fellas- I didn't think you could do it- especially after that first round, I"d be lying if i wasn't chilling on easy street. Congrats though, I'm glad it was an enjoyable squad and not some dickheads- seriously, big up all yourselves, and lots of love and respect from the heartbroken corner. Really stings in my heart, I wanted this really bad- hope we can be around next time to challenge you. RESPECT, LOVE,

Right back at you Div. Was a hell of a fight to the end. You guys wooped us good in round 1 and I worried too, but luckily for us we regained composure and played our very best. It's good to see divine hype himself up and his squad and be man enough to give credit where credit is due
