wtf is with the top 2 twdd teams only playing noob squads? Aeon has only played 2 squads I've ever even heard of before and lost to both of them at least once (melee and british squad rofl), and Distinct's best win so far is against disoblige. They lost their only hard match to grapevine. When are you gonna stop bullying around the children and play with the big boys? If you don't have the confidence to play us now you sure as hell won't beat us in TWL. I have more respect for Quicksand than for either Aeon or Distinct because they at least play better squads now and then.

Quicksand for TWL. They deserve it.

Distinct and Aeon are going to be laughed out of TWL if they ever make it in.

Yeah, I don't like it that squads like Distinct and Aeon are playing squads of, well essentially, pubbers. The squads like.. well, the squads with names like: killers123. It's really stupid. And yeah, if they make it to TWL, have fun in the first round. Distinct 4 dissolve. :down:

Calm down, TWL doesn't start for months. Will Quicksand, Distinct, or even Rusher be there for it? It's too damn early to tell. It's also much too early to start complaining about TWD ranks.

Hmmm..i'm not trying to cause an argument or anything, but i was considering what you were talking about, in terms of facing..the "big boy" squads. From what i've seen in being apart of distinct, we've dd'd a from time to time, and its pretty much anyone available. And, for the big boy squads, correct me if i'm wrong, but i haven't seen them very active, unless you're talking about the squads newly out, but i have no idea about any of it. Anyways..i'm surprised its only been 1 week after twl and there are people complaining about it, when we've spent basically ALL season discussing about it. We've got 4 months, come on, give it a break until it actually counts

Foreign 1st off i have to say i agree that it is lame and it wont help them come TWL time. We saw that with how many squads last season? 2-4? or More!

That said, TWL isnt till january (at earliest) and TWD only reset like 2 weeks ago. Once the ladders sort themselves out and the better squads get higher rankings then squads like distink will have to play them just to keep up. Example, Rusher will get real high rating in a few weeks and play other high rated squads (lets say venom) and get like 20+ points for a win. Distinct on the other hand will play a squad like X_aznmobsters_X and get about 4-5 points for a win, and if they lost they'd lose like 40+ points. Just takes time for the ladders to settle, something that didnt happen last season.

I'd just like to clarify I'm not complaining about who is in what spot on the stupid ladder. Frankly I don't think it's important either. I'm challenging those squads showing poor sportsmanship to actually play someone that is worth the time. I'm doing this for a few reasons.

a) Playing better squads makes your squad better. You learn from your mistakes when you play a team that can actually exploit them.

b) When your squad becomes better, if my squad beats you, I feel like I've actually accomplished something rather than having the "I just wasted half an hour of my time" feeling.

c) There is a large talent pool in Trench Wars and you've managed to skirt it completely. Either there's some insane coincidence here or there are cowardly tactics involved. I'm warning you because I don't want you to be crying if you make TWL and 0-10 for the season because you never played any of the other squads who made it into TWLd while you were qualifying.

I agree, many of these squads might not be around. I think even if my squad fell apart lofty would keep running it anyways though; he's that type of leader. You can expect to see Rusher in TWLD. The point is, whatever squad you happen to be in or running, you can't get better if you don't play better people. I spent a lot of time my first year losing to a lot of really good people. It didn't make me a worse player because I was losing to better people and not beating up on newbies all the time. It gave me something better, actually. People out there knew I had an ambition to be the best. You can't be the best by practicing on squads that are straight out of pub.

I'm not trying to bash your squads as much as you may think. I may have come across the wrong way. I just want you guys to fully participate for your benefit, my benefit, and everyone else's.

1 thing...All squads start at the same point, 1000 points. Yes we play easier squads for an early advantange, but will it really factor out in 4 months, I doubt it. Many of the squads we have dueled are new. In the beginning of TWD, it takes some time to separate the good squads from the bad ones. In 2 months time, the better squads won't waste 15 minutes playing some noob squad for 5 points. Just wait a while and things will settle.


Edit: If your squad was one of the top in the ladder (I'm not sure if it is...but...), yes you would be at least a little bit afraid of losing 40+ points you took so many matches to gain. You have to look at it from our perspective too.

Point is they atleast stick there head out on the line once in awhile. Every squad sometimes plays ezier squads bc they dont have a good lineup on. I know if im looking for a TWJD with me, puska, everest, ray j online i wont be goin out challenging Venom to a jd, but when we got others on we play better ppl.
