umm... if someone is on a low ranked team in twl they aren't just gonna be able to get on a high ranked team headed for playoffs simply because they decide to.

and if they could, they probably wouldn't even bother being on that low ranked team for the first half (or more) of twl.

most playoff teams wont mass recruit from the lower tier of twl anyways.

I dont know when ur 1st TWL game was but about 2-3 seasons ago i remember when a-s and a few other squads basicaly stacked there lineups b4 playoffs of TWLB. There needs to be a roster lock somewhere in the season ( i dont know what week). OR u could do what due said and have a person only eligable after a few weeks. Like if player "A" left squad, joined Pallies on week 6 he'd have to wait till week 9 to be eligable. OF course thats just an example, but there has to be some sort of limitation.

Plus this idea isnt really stopping the ppl from hopping, its just making the squads more cautious of "stealing" ppl come TWL. They mite say NO to more ppl, but u'll still have ppl hopping and whatnot.

You have a point in there Awesome. If some squad drops from twl just because it gets banned for its stupid captain (love you zz, roy, mol), players still have a chance in joining a new twl squad. :greedy:

Tough luck if that happens. It sucks if that happens to a squad, but to uphold the balance of the league, people should NOT be able to join another TWL squad after the midpoint (Week 4 or 5) of the league.

I think moot joined late in the season but he didn't play for us in playoffs anyways it was ogred and wind (i think, i could be wrong there) with erat addy pv and someone else in spid, i was jav and (shocking i know) brook was terr. Oh, was moot the other spid and he got subbed?

I mite be thinking of the wrong squad when i said a-s, but i remember some squad (2-3 seasons ago not sure which) where they really loaded there rosters the week b4 playoffs.

I like awes idea bc it does give ppl the opertunity to get on another squad. Ppl like decy/dl/nether last year who were axed, or shriek who all payed bc merce was an idiot. I mean those guys erally should of been aable to join a squad, but thena gain u need to have it that rostesr lock b4 to late in the season. Its a hard debate, maybe do what BZ said.

We are still gonna have the 7 day waiting period to be eligable rite?

Honestly I think it worked perfectly last season..
A "soft lock" on week 3 and "hard lock" in week 5. I hope it'll remain the same this season... It gives enough time for squad to prepare and correct some errors.
On the donwload / nether / decy situation, they werent axed for nothing. Its their own problem. On the shrieks situation, everyone in that squad knew about those kind of things. If u didnt want to risk something like that, just dont join it. It might happen again this year ....

Underground, all i'm saying is if someone isn't responsible for being kicked out of twl... like last year vigilanty joined us when shriek dissolved but he wasn't allowed to play and nethervoid/download couldn't play either for their teams and none of them did anything wrong really. It's not their fault they were kicked out of twl. this allows some people a chance to get back in instead of waiting a full year for another shot.

I like this idea. I'm leaning more towards 5 as the number of additions allowed. And no more additions after week 7 sounds great.
