I'll concede one point, that grapevine woudl've been a good contender. However, I don't know that they would've done better than diso, I guess that's opinion and we'll never know.

But the fact is that diso made playoffs. Pallies made playoffs. Id on't know who else auto-qualified, but to my knowledge, since this rule was implemented, every single team that comes back has been competetive.

Also, diso is still alive, grapevine is dead. This system works fine.

Diso is having its problems rite now. My point is a squad like -f- shouldnt be able to practicly die in the off-season and still get there auto-qualifying spot. Even pallies played a few games a week.

Sure maybe "trend" wasnt the best word to put there, but i dont think diso really performed that well. They shouldnt of been in TWLB playoffs, they werent really a contender for the TWLD or TWLJ title either. Pallies, yes they were, but they also werent that inactive b4 last season. This season they are so we'll see how they do. I still think that if a squad is "auto-qualified" from the season b4 they shoudl have sort of rules/limits that they have to stay so active in the off-season. I mean diso atleast jds alot still. Pallies play like 3 games a week that i see, and -f- didnt play 1 game for about 3 months b4 now. They mite do well next season, but it isnt really staying "alive" from 1 season till the next.

Who cares if -F- went inactive for 3 months? Wheres the fire? You have to stay active after the season is over? People go on with their lives, they don't play ss 24/7 non-stop like some people. Point is: you don't kick out the squads that EARNED their right to get in TWL. Not stable squads like -F-, Pallies, Diso, etc. They all had good seasons and were stable squads to show up. The NEW squads are the teams that have to earn their keeps--period. I doubt TWL coordinators are stupid enough to kick the vet TWL squads. Trust me.

Next season is coming along, I left an active NEW squad, Venom, to play again with my teammates of last year. I'll be there on Sundays like the rest of my -F- buds. But if you want to kick the older squads for the newbie squads who are active only to dissolve after a bad loss, be my guest. But with all due respect, I'm sure glad you're not league coordinator, because that idea won't fly.

I never said kick -f- from leagues. What i said was make them requalify. Plus there is a differences between going inactive for 3 months (aka pallies this off season) and dying in the offseason (-f- this offseason). You have to play a few games to be considered inactive. Now im not gonna make a huge deal over this bc -f- would make all 3 leagues ezily anyway even if they had to requalfy. What i would like to see tho next season is a rule saying a squad has to be so active during the off-season. They dont need to play 10 games a day, but a few games a month to show they are alive would be a nice rule.

2.03 In order for a TWD Squad to qualify for TWL consideration, that Squad must meet all Trench Wars Leagues requirements. In addition:
- The Squad must have played a minimum of 20 matches in the specific division (Basing, Dueling, Javelins) they are attempting to qualify for. Squads that have not met the minimum 20 games played requirement will not be considered for Trench Wars Leagues qualification.

I think if u cant play 20 games in about 3 months or so then u are considered dead.

They dont have to qualify, they are already qualified and considered a TWL squad, not a TWD squad. -F- didnt die the offseason, people were still squadjoined: Mitch, Disqualifier, Aprix, Roxy, Foxy, USS Banana, VenomArse and more who were inactive.

Why does it matter? what's the point? obviously they're alive now when twl is about to start again... so who cares if they were alive the past 2 months. they've got the same roster and made playoffs in all leagues last year. What more do they need to do really? There's no reason... you just say stuff like "it'd be nice" ... nice? wtf? why?

Pretty sure this rule applies to squads looking to qualify for leagues, not auto-requalify.

Awesome i realize that rule is for squads looking to requalify, but as i said above i think that would be a good rule to keep for all squads wnting to play in TWL. Like i said, if u cant play 20 games in 3 months+ then u should be considered dead.

also they dont have the same lineup as playoffs in any 3 leagues. For twld no raspi, for twlj no spawnism or domi, for twlb no hannes, domi, rockman, raspi. Not to mention they havent played 1 twbd game since they became active, and there is less then amonth to go. Even the best cant go for months w/o practice and do well in twlb.

yet another reason to completely seperate twd from twl... they aren't linked except for currently qualifying... which -f- has already done.

-final- probably has more returning players than any other squad in twl... mentioning one or two guys, here and there, that they may have lost is irrelevant.

Why? Maybe we'll play a little more when the season comes around. Why should we play a "certain" amount during a dead period?? For shits and giggles? You don't see pro-sport teams playing scrimmage matches during the off-season do you? Once pre-season kicks in, the season kicks in, players will show more interest and play. It's not a hard concept. =P

I didnt say that. Awesome said they HAVE the same lineup as last year's playoffs. I just showed him as of now they dont. I hope they do go back bc after dice -f- is who i'd hope win any of the 3 leagues. I just think the inactive streaks that some of these playoff squads go on in the off-season affects thier performance the next season. I think you'll make playoffs probably in all 3 leagues, but it'll be hard for u guys in LB considering how inactive u are :X what im trying to say is GET ACTIVE DROW GOGOGO :P

I understand. I wasn't trying to be mean or anything, I just don't see the big deal of being active in a dead part of the season. We've been playin recently now that the season isn't too far away now. But teams that have already proved themselves in the past, don't have to always play. Its the teams that are new that have some proving to do.
