the obvious solution is
after each TWL,
announce

that the new TWL will start
four days from said TWL's ending
so they can then say
that it's been delayed,
and that the now delayed TWL
will start at a delayed time,
say Januray 8th

Who picks these staff? We should be able to vote them in or out instead of having some hierarchy that resembles fascism rather than a logical system of having the masses pick who they want to work on.

To say people don't pay at all is kinda stupid as well, as far as donations go I see plenty of contributions to this game. Where does that go? To buy servers for Dock's web hosting crap that 80% of SS doesn't use? Why not give TWL ops a bit of incentive for actually complying to a date that they imposed on themselves?

Basically I think we should be able to vote staff out if we do not think they are able to do what they say they can do. This is really disappointing to me because there was 4 monthes where Jan. 8th was plastered around SS like it was going to go flawlessly..

I'm deprived of NHL hockey, and now this spaceship game is in a very similar form of lockout. When will the madness end?!?

I dont think a delay would be all that bad, since we are all used to it. More squads get time to establish themselves and work on their strategies. It would be bad however if staff does not use the time effectively. Bot glitches/failures or things of that nature should be addressed during the delay so that things run smoothly. However this is pretty redundant and tiresome in that TWL always does get delayed, kind of like the release of Halo 2 -_-

It would be nice if TWL started on the first allotted date for once.

Yeah TWL needs to get into a groove before ppl start suggesting changes to make it better/different.
