I think this is the 1st time i actualy seen a squad not get invited bc of the 50% roster thing. I thought that was j ust there for looks. Besides sk8 will qualify for leagues anyway, so will incuria.

What about Diso and Pallies...they still have half their roster even after the merger?...meh confusing stuff.

Well it hink since most of the players went back to there original squads they have 50%. Although pallies dont have 20 games played in TWBD. Dunno if that rule is only for TWD qualifications or for all squads.

It's not about that. It's about sk8 not getting autoqualified because the TWL roster thingy wasn't implemented yet.

II. Trench Wars League Structure

2.02 All playoff Squads that participated in the previous Trench Wars Leagues season will be granted automatic admission to play in this season. At a date to be later disclosed by the League Operators, the highest-ranking TWD Squads in each division will fill the remaining TWL spots of that division. Squads that dissolved at any time during the previous season, or prior to the new season's start, will have to re-enter Trench Wars Leagues through the TWD system. Squads that intend to return must also retain at least 50% of their roster from the previous season to remain seeded in TWL.

There was an approximate date given that when TWL squads will be picked, therefore this rule must apply to squads who wish to enter into TWL 8 through auto-entry. There was time to axe unnecessary players, even though the exact date was sprung on us. So this rule was implemented the moment the rules for TWL 8 were made, is what I'm saying.

when i see this rule, retain means keep. retain doesn't mean "loses and gets back sometime in the distant future".

sk8, go out, recruit a couple ppl who were on ur roster last year and dare them not to invite you.

there was no deadline given for when a squad's roster had to be set. if it had happened 2 weeks ago (and twl had started on time), pallies nor diso would have been in, and would have had no warning.

i have no problem with all those squads getting an invite, xept final in base maybe. . .

however, to not invite sk8 really calls logic into question.

hmm.. -final- didnt have any roster at some point. Not even the squadname on squadlist. They should do qualifying like others

Well, who cares... I think -Final- deserves the spot anyways, and I'll enjoy playing against them in TWL, so I have nothing against them getting an auto-invite. Even though it'd perhaps be against the rules, it's a lot easier to just let them in.

Few questions: Did Pallies, Disoblige or -Final- dissolve after the last season?

I think pallies and diso had a few guys left on the roster even during the dispalogies-times, but -F- dissappeared from the TWD-site completely if I'm not mistaken??

They didnt dissolve, some guys stayed on diso and pallies during that merge, but as you say, i dont think they got 50% of previous season roster, mainly pallies, they had like 40 ppl rostered.

zzz -f- never dissolved and was auto-qualified so there is no need to practise, and I wouldnt mind seeing Sk8 auto-qualified. And the squad was removed because the TWD system has a thing that removes a squad which doesnt practise for a while, but since there was no need to practise it didnt matter.
