Does Ancients deserve TWLB spot?

yes, i agree, but reallly....who cares?

this is a game where lag is rampant, people double and triple squad, play against squads they created to gain more points, won't cancel matches even if there's a good reason, spawn, lame, vulch, etc...

they haven't broken any rules, they'll probably brush up on their bding before TWL, they won't win, but maybe they'll be decent (or not). But I don't see any squads that can win that Ancients is replacing.

It's really just a matter of who wants to finish 9th more, Ancients or someone else. At the end of the day, how they do it is rather trivial, because other squads can just as easily do the same thing they did.

The fact everyone noticed what they've been doing so late is just credit to their devious efforts, and maybe a slight bit of anger/jealously that they didn't sink as low to make TWBD.

It's sad for some squads that are basing squads or play good people and might not make it because of Ancients, but that's life. It will just make squads playing Ancients in BD that much hungrier and next time around other squads will get wise, delegate who they play more cautiously come TWL and not come full circle realizing that Ancients is going to get in and they're not 5 days before TWD closes.

Playing Spastic 5 times in a row or whatever may be admirable, but it's also foolish. Ancients is in TWLB, and that's that. Maybe next year the system will (hopefully) be revamped. It took Edison 10,000 tries to get the lightbulb right :grin:

i think u can see only black & white :P They just arent TWLB caliber and they blocking some almost good base squads out

this system should be fixed maybe something like won't gain points from same squads if have played more than 2-3 times before have played 1-2 time against 1 of top 5 squad. or something like that.

well Pirates had beaten Juice with was it 6's or 5's? and probably sk8 with the same.

I think that the rules should be changed that a squad must win a certain amount of games against teams who are going to play in TWL and deserve it + a certain amount, shall we say ~20 games 8v8.

THere is no arguement against this, because any squad who is serious about basing...playing TWLB can easily play 20 8v8 games in the space of a month and a half or two, unless they are already qualified.

Pirates or Sk8 definately deserve a spot over Ancients.

I would agree with the idea of a mini-tournament or a final ruling by upper TWL staff (PL).

That's a pretty shitty argument. So you're saying you're not abusing the system by avoiding the top teams, but ancients is abusing it by avoiding more teams than you guys. So basically, i could say I'm not as bad as a serial killer because i've only killed a couple of innocent people in my life.

No, what i'm stating is that because we are all fighting for our lives to make it into the league we all avoid the best 3 teams out there. Thats leaves the next 30 teams. We play all of them, Ancients does not. I don't blame them from not playing the top teams because you don't want to play Venom and lose twice and then get eliminated but you can't just play Dudgeon 10x, needless to say thats a little silly.

that can be argued, 2 kills isn't really considered a "series" of crimes over a period of time. serial doesn't mean anything above 1.

Playing easy squads to get qualified means a squad has smart captains that use the system. It also means that the system is crappy.

well.. the new Ave Rating system that was put in TWD might be a solution to this problem, like when considering twl squads, the twl ops can look at the Ave Rating of the squads, if the squad has a <1000 ave rating, which means the squad played alot of cheap games, then the TWL ops will have the right to not let the squad join TWL.
