Spastic - Spastic will finish top 5 no doubt. As to winning the championship, I am doubting that from day to day. The squad seems to be going through some tough times and their core doesn’t seem very happy. I don't expect to see a breakup, but 1)A few key players leaving or 2)The enmity between squad mates will be their downfall in playoffs. An all around strong squad, but a couple negative factors could spell disaster for them.

Lineup:Pure_luck, Stabwound, Wake(in shark?), Don't Try to Resist, Anon, Jamal, minkmink, Necromotic

Standout Player - Anon. Kudos to your spid skills.



Dice - An all around strong squad in two different leagues. Their lineup is solid, but I'm not sure how capable Cape will be during the league. If by any chance he doesn't show up they will be in some big trouble. Yes, Azurus is a solid terr, but he seems to be very inactive. They have excellent sharks that will most likely push them to victory. Yes, their spids aren't the most respected, yet they have proven they are very capable of winning games. I'm guessing Dice has the best shot at the championship spot at the moment.

Lineup: Cape, a2m <ZH>, Solidify/Cig Smoke/wbm, mikes, shayde <ER>, Hero, Megaman89, Paska

Standout Player - a2m <ZH>/Hero. Both incredible players at their respectable ships.



BasingCrew - Wow, BC has really picked it up since the beginning of last TWLB. They really have come together to form an incredible te...spid crew. Their weakness lies in their terr and sharks. Yes, they have picked up some new sharks and a terrier, but this will definitely bring them crashing down against teams in playoffs. Although they have depth in their incredible spider power. BC has made TW popular to DSB though. I hope you lose all of your games because I hate getting PMs with "d00d, i play dsb 4 lik a year. let me on ur squad pls?"

Lineup: Kawrae, Rab, Hannes, Jebu, Leitz, Sumpson, Spikey, Suede

Standout Player - Spikey/Hannes. Spikey can really spid now...he's come a long way. Hannes, well you guys know what Hannes is capable in his shark.



Venom - Although a respectable Warbird and Javelin squad I think they have the potential to make the top 5 in TWLB this season. Do I think they will win? Hell no. They some how will make it to playoffs with some good spiders, a laggy terr, one good shark, and one shark that can catch up quickly. I really have nothing more to say.

Lineup: 2dragons/Ajaxee/Randedl(for the 5 ship of course), FieryFire, Epinephrine, Crazi, i.d., Sharpe(I luv u twin boi), Escalate(You owe me for TWLM from last year, remember that), Deez Nuts

Standout Player - I.d.



Incuria - An under respected squad, but has the potential for greatness this season. With the new additions in the shark and spid area Incuria has the potential to make playoffs, if not win TWLB. Incuria has depth in the roster and that will most likely cause consistent games. The top 5 spiders are spectacular, but after those the spids are good, but are still lacking that ooomph.

Lineup: Molgan, PaulOakenfold/Aura, Jeansi/Decorum, Tahkis, Invincible, Boy Kissing Boy, Bliz, Trouper/Lemonfrog_Returns

Standout Player - All of the starting lineup spids.



As for the rest of the squads, you guys really haven't showed what you are capable of. Yes, Diso will most likely make top 5, but I didn't include you guys because you seem to be inconsistent in your playing. Anti-Scrub, I don't see how you guys won last season. Sorry to be blunt, but you guys aren't capable of even playoffs if you keep playing the way you have lately. RB has been showing some good potential in TWBD, but I don't think they will be as successful as last season. They will be all right, but their downfall will be in that they have no depth, and can barely form a solid 8. Mambo, get active and we'll see what you can do. The people who didn't make the list have no potential to do anything good in TWLB. Sorry, but TWLB is lacking a lot this year. And yes Pallies, I didn't mention you. Erm, ignore that so you are still off my list. You have lost to many good players and haven't picked up anyone to take their place..atleast in the basing area.

Your top 5 is weird, IMO venom doesn't really have a chance, and a-s, mambo, RB, ... everyone will stomp them in twlb, of course they could prove me wrong.

I also don't see Incuria or Basingcrew making top 5.

I think alot of what he said is dead rite. Atleast about dice. Shark is our strong point and our spiders are underrated. SO u know it'll probably be me with a2m Not sure what combo of spiders we'll play tho. Paska wont be here every week tho he's in army.

Im not sure the other squad's starting lineups so i cant really predict how good i think ppl will do, but i think dice, a-s, spastic are top 3. Its hard to predict the rest bc all are so inactive. -f- has 2 bd games played, diso u can never tell how good they'll do, pallies are off the map as well, same with mambo. So its really hard to see how things will pan out since i think most of those squads are or should be top contenders.

There's only one thing I am sure of: TWLB will be much more even than it has been the two last seasons. Tons of squads that are capable of winning even the best if they have a good day.

My observations...

Spastic
Advantages: Experience, great crammers, great sharks, great terrs, good spiders. What more can you say?
Weaknesses: Can be over-aggressive terring, not superb at winning base battles.
Key Player: Necromotic

Dice
Adv: Nice lineup, superb aggressive and skilled spiders, cape is imo the best terr in TW, sharks know what they are going.
Weak: Lack of experience.
Key: Cape

Venom
Adv: Again, a superb TW-bred spider line, solid terr in ajaxee, solid sharks if they play more.
Weak: Again, lack of experience, combine with an uncertain 1st string lineup, ajaxee has bad days, sharks average.
Key: Dont really think they have a key player, i'll be surprised if venom finish top 5 in twlb.

Rejected Basers
Adv: Luck is sometimes on their side, Lunch3 is still an awesome team and solo player, perhaps the most underestimated basing team in TW.
Weak: Kings can (and does) suck in terr sometimes, Lunch3 might have to shark which would -really- hurt the spider line, specially against better squads.
Key: Lunch3

Basingcrew
Adv: Tight knit lineup of 8 players who play together a lot and know each other well. Strong cram, good at pushing and winning base fights.
Weak: Although there is noticeable skill, there is still a a lack of overall skill among BC. They work well together, but there is no single names that really jump out. No disrespect, but Sumpson, Jebu, Hannes, are all fairly average names. And Spikey is overrated. Oh, and rab is a great player... if he turns on his lag :\
Key: Dunno tbh.

Disoblige & Pallies
Ahh the old favourites. Vets with the occasional active streak who all dust themselves off for twl. The rust will show through, and is already showing in pallies, not so much diso maybe... but they only need a strong set of 8 people and they can still do it with the best of them.

Anti-Scrub
Good luck to em, they wont win this season, or even come top 5 but they'll damn well try and may even cause an upset

Pirates
A potential surprise. Herc in terr, Chi-town, Dunce, or Dutch Baser in shark and a team of TW spiders behind them... Could prove dangerous, but again, too inexperienced for top5.

Hmm, i cant comment on these guys. One minute they suck, next they are owning you. Who knows?

Dont make me laugh. If these guys win one game, i'll post nude pictures of myself on these forums. No, really. I will.

I managed to miss out both my old squad and my current squad. But to be honest, both Incuria and Juice are squads with the potential to do very well... while at the same time with the potential to lose 15.00 - 0.00.

We'll see.

i dont know why so many people think a-s won't even make top 5. helloooo, a-s won twl last season, and their core lineup didnt change that much at all. The only BIG change from their core is that the spider lineup is without me and nosey. But we can be replaced easily. If playoff and finals were to happen right now, (meaning no roster change), I will say a-s is still a champ contender. heh. Thought many of you would learn from last season that TWD games means shit.

I don't know shit about basing. But, from my observations and understandings (which doesn't compile to a lot anyway), I know you guys are under-estimating A-S. I saw a few of their games last season and brookus is a $$ terr with some great spiders and sharks keeping him alive and providing the space he needs. We'll see though, it's only a matter of weeks.
