you make some good points, but on the flipside, you lost these players after TWL, not a few days prior. Big difference. blood/koan/mattey/fruitang and whoever else didn't fuck you over. you're right that every team should plan for these kinds of things because they do happen, but it certainly doesn't help spikey and kawrae's case knowing this.

basingcrew should pick up bossman he's a great terr, and juice really doesnt need him :wub:

Sumpson perhaps your small roster theory isn't the best method. In this thread you seem to be complaining about the fact you lost 2 players and now have to change your squad about and recruit b4 roster lock and yet your still defending your system off a small roster as a good idea.

I agree with some of your ideas but what happened is the obvious risk of having a small roster and if you can't absorb the loss of two players that you got since the last twl (as far as i know) then your squad is too small to balance the +ve from a closer team (with the -ve of each member that leaves matters more).

Also there seems to be a few spots on your squad that change alot, perhaps these were "trial" periods given to players who didn't meet the caliber you wanted and they were axed. If that is the case then perhaps the fact BC didn't meet the standard spikey and kaw wanted and they went to a better squad (dice who are favorites for twl at this stage [i think]) shouldn't come as so much of a shock or a betrayal to you.

In general i respect you Sumpson as you got me into basing but i don't like the way you are airing what seems to be an issue between spikey and you in public in an attempt to further damage the reputation of spikey and kaw becuase they left your squad at a bad time. i think that most would agree it is pretty sucky and selfish to leave at that time knowing it would hurt the squad you were in, but if your trying to promote BC as a close knit community it seems that if you leave it in dodgy circumstances - you will get stabbed in the back. Not saying that you should be saying best whishes spikey and kaw but i'm not seeing a close community when you post about former members in such a way.
