Not sure if you're a friend or foe, or hold any grudges, but if our squad repeatedly sent messages to a twl bot in order to avoid losing, then I'll eat my ass.

This kind of thing happens every season. It looks bad for whoever is losing each time. I'm sure you just got excited and posted your theory in haste. Might be best to ease up on the fingerpointing until someone knows what's going on, though.

yes, the Diso-ppl are appalled by the deliberate malicious behavior of individuals in a SS squadron called Pallies, and we have all signed a petition for their banning from these space-leagues. I can only hope that mature staff will not take sides in this sad event and will issue deserved punishment.

i didn't assume anything while watching both games and after, nor did i care or bother to postulate a theory. quite frankly pallies winning benefits my squad and i'm not fond of Underground and the way he talks down to other squads. i know a few pallies like vykro and aloc and theyre all very cool, i wouldnt just shove out some theory to try to make them look bad i have nothing against pallies.

having said that, i've played pallies before and once or twice up like 49-47 in a round 3 the bot crashed right as were about to win. i dont know if it's related to this incident, but this and the fact that quite a few pallies, after losing the replay, said that it was bullshit and they were going to file an appeal and that they could have won.. their attitude was pretty adamant on not conceding, even though the 20 or so people who bothered ringin' in on what had happened in spec unanimously agreed that sk8 won, the bot laggin for a few seconds didn't benefit sk8 and that the score should be final.

all this adds up, but really who cares. then this morning i talk to an ER who tells me the whole !status spamming incident. i've never heard a tall tale from this ER (who I won't name unless he wants me to) and given the attitude of some pallies members after the game, past precedence of similar occurences, the actual situation (sk8 winning on both occasions) and a bot-crashing story from a credible source, and I think it's enough to merit bringing this theory to light.

it could be false, I don't know how said ER got the info so I am going out on a bit of a limb here, but who knows? this is a forum, not a courtroom, and i'm speculating, not convicting.

there have been bot problems so that's certainly a possibility, but that sole fact doesn't eliminate the possiblity of tampering.

this is deck speaking, i am a reasonably honest person... and inorder to have what.. 9? pallies spam all at once? would require coordination... well HA we can't even team, u lovely critics...... also there was no discussion of that sort... of any sort for that matter, it's just coords and crap

and then we postpone an entire afternoon due to bots dieing, and yet, only our game is suspect to being "spammed," please, use common sense

Want to hear something shocking? The bots have been dying for a good two years now. Are you shocked? I Sure am! Furthermore, nobody is going to go to all that trouble to cheat in a regular season game unless they lick there own balls and insert candles up there asses (for sporting purposes)

Lets save the bullshit "they so cheated, I have no proof but they so did" for Sikas lag and TWL playoffs.

Could you name that ER? If there is someone that incompetent on staff that would think we'd actually do something like that, I don't think they should be an ER. I mean that's pretty pathetic, anyone with any sense knows we've been playing twl for years and never would do anything like that.

And you think we'd seriously try to lag out a bot in a twdd game vs Heavy? Yeah, we'll walk out for 5 minutes in the middle of a twdd match to go pick up some beer (hi triceratops), but if we are losing a twdd to heavy we'll spam the bots to make sure we get those all precious points we needed to qualify for twld... oh wait.
