NO i'll tell u what the problem is. The problem is we dont have a TWD roster limit. Look at some of these squads and the # of ppl they have.

rules should be changed that only 1 new squad get in league but there would be few rules for squads: they can't dissolve, they have to be active (example atleast 5matches/month or more)

now so many squads have dissolved one reason is cuz they are inactive and then active members leave and many other reasons too. but these rules would maybe keep more squads together and even there would be only 1 new spot for new squad there would be more for real because TW squads dissolve anyway.

Cig, we have 10+ inactives on roster. Kick them!. Why? It's not like they hurt anyone by sitting on roster. And even if we'd kick the 10+, we'd have around 35 members.


Some squads (or the members on it) should keep in mind that the TWL roster limit is 35. (As in spastics case, almost 15 guys would be left behind without a spot..)

we aint a one league squad, we were in twlj last season and we are going for it again, ad we are picking up wbs, because we wanna try to get in twld..so I guess we are trying to be an official 3 league squad, so you take the wbs out, the few javs, and you get a roster of some basers, because we have some that only play sometimes, and if that limit was true we would just take the inactive people out..

anyways maybe there should be a roster limit but like herc said, this is off season or are you people blind as fuk =D

I just dont see what it would hurt to limit the rosters. If they are so inactive then it wouldnt hurt to take them off the roster. I highly doubt that all you squad with 40+ ppl on the roster have 10+ who are inactive for more then a week or 2 at a time. I just think this is a major problem that is contributing to less squads in general (especialy in basing)

Of course I really dont care if we play TWLB this season with 8 squads or 10 squads. Just someone came here asking why we didnt have as many basing squads and i thought this was a issue that isnt helping. I just think since TWL has a limit let TWD.

Stayon: even if u are going for all 3 leagues, the TWL roster limit is or was 35 last season. I personaly think it should be 30 but thats me. Either way you guys are still recruiting wbs, basers, and javs, yet you guys are 10-15 ppl over the TWL roster limit.

JeBu: I agree w/ the fact squads should have to be so active in the offseason as well. I said this b4 last season with how inactive pallies were. I dont think any squad should get an auto-invite if they play a total of about 5 games in the whole offseason. Even auto-invite squads should be forced to stay semi-active and play a total of 5-10 games in each of the leagues they are in. Look at pallies last season, everyone said it wont matter how active they are in the off-season, I think otherwise. Of course some squads like -f- do it eveyr year and still perform great, i just think in general all squads should have to stay semi-active or show some life to be considered alive.

I think bloodzombie has proved this point often enough, but since some don't get it, I'll go over it for him. If the people on the 30+ squads that don't play wanted to play, what is preventing them from leaving and making their own squad? Zilch. Why do they stay when some of them have no shot of playing? You'd have to ask them. Maybe they simply like it there.

Roster limit just makes things stupid. If one squad has too many "good" players to play in a given week, chances are high that the non-playing ones will leave to other squads or form new ones. If they don't leave, then why do you want to force them off?

You ask why we keep recruiting, yet you should be asking why do people keep asking to join?

Why do you care if there are 10+ inactives on a squad's roster or not? How is that hurting you?

why should 15 players be axed from roster, it doesnt matter what squad they are on they are still inactive and never plays, arent we talking about activeness instead of rostersize.

I'm really suprised you guys didnt flame me for my earlier post. Anyway, I agree with the huge roster size thing but I also wanted to add that Ownage recruited Dameon Angel not to long ago and we have been BDing a little bit. I know elude has started to Bd a lot too. I doubt either of them will make TWL but still, they are fairly active basing squads.

Then you should start considering the active guys and axe some of them. BY forcing them to quit, you will recreate compitition and activness though the game. All you guys are doing by being on the same squad is creating a big go base environnement in twbd. That's how i see it now. Twbd has become the new go base (the one we had a year ago or so) because you never see 2 teams with the same lineup back to back, or almost.

Spastic, We have squads like -final- who have 30 players or so and are able to be competitve and get in the 3 leagues easely, but yet, you guys have to get different people with a roster as big as 50 people. It just doesn't work out, you can't compare yourself by being a 3 league squad if you never have the same players in each league.
