TWLB squads

Name one pure-basing squad that made it to a 3-league-squad. I don't think it will work, and why would you recruit a zillion duelers/javs if you (the basers) want to duel/jav, why not get some duel/jav skills yourself and don't hog other people for that. It's kind of retarded to have so many people knowing you will fail in the end.

And we needed people - not just duelers. We still aren't even that active with the roster we have because most of us are inactive. We recruit duelers who can base too so we can play a diverse bunch of games. Who cares if we don't make LD? We're having fun playing DDs and if the guys we recruit like our squad then they'll stay. Stop bitching about other squads' policies - hardly any of the people we recruit go to BC or whatever other squads are here bitching anyway.

As far as I know diso kind of was 3-league squad from the beginning. At least I remember squaddueling them alot back in the days.

naw, back in the day, when tw only had the base league and the general twl dueling league where you can be any ship you want, diso was basically a pure base squad

to be perfectly honest, when i joined, Diso was already trying to play all three leagues, sucked in all, i remember making fun of them in baseelim, but since basing is by far the easiest (as in my first game in spider i mvpd), they were doing pretty ok, after i joined we pretty much became instant title challengers in all three leagues, unfortunatly i keep missing out on the playoffs due holidays.

Wow, quite the definitive mission statement. Any particular reason that no one could supply this for the squad when I asked about it 12+ times?

I am lost, what feud? I think in the 10 weeks (or whatever it has been) that I left Diso, I may have made 3 posts in the Diso public squad forum and perhaps 3 post in this (TW) forum. None of which directly is critical of Diso or anyone on Diso.

As far as the post directly above, I was surprised at Da1's reply. It was such a strong, yet simple, declaration of a good squad mission statement. That was something that I sought many, many times in Diso and only really received criticism for being too 'business-like'.

So while it is true that I am saddened for having to leave Diso, I am quite sure it was the best thing for everyone involved. I am not the kind of person to beat around a bush, if I had some axe to grind I would have already done it. I have a strong opinion about what is broken in Diso, now and while I was in the squad. But it is/was just my opinion and few people agreed with me then (or now).
But as far as I know, having an opinion on something is acceptable and not against any rules.
