    TWLB Update

    Grapevine is being removed from TWLB.

    This comes as repercussion to Mythril (a GV captain) being banned for blatantly using cheats to prize himself bursts and portals during a recent TWBD game.

    He openly admitted on forums that he had used said cheats during TWD qualifications to help Grapevine make TWLB.

    This matter is not being taken lightly and staff will continue to do our best to get rid of cheating in Trench Wars, especially when leagues are concerned.

    As a result of Grapevines elimination from TWLB, TWL will invite Shinobi to take the open spot and we will also change up the conferences to reflect this change. Take this as a reminder and warning, if a squad captain is caught cheating in whichever form during a twd/twl game, the squad will immediately be disqualified from TWL.

        Go Mythril.. What an idiot.

        Although better that he admitted using the cheats himself than getting caught without telling himself.

          Well said, I hope cheaters stay away from this game! There is no use of CE's in this 2D game as Reaver has said.

                    tbh, i don't think this means much for many of the members of GV.
                    Ardour> my fire button is escape key. and thrust is F12. i like to make it as hard for me as possible.
                    Reaver> i play subspace with a steering wheel and gas pedal and a dance dance revolution pad
                    Reaver> i gotta jump on the arrows and turn left to fire
                    Ardour> my movement keys are random letters. i change them regually

                    Glide> my parents are being evil, they stole my antenna in an attempt to ground me from internet
                    Glide> so i made one

                      3.04 Any Squad Captain or Co-Captain found to be guilty of cheating to alter game play and to create an unfair advantage, will be subject to:

                      c) Removal of the Squad(s) from Trench Wars League participation for the Squad(s) of which the offending player was a captain or co-captain of. The other members and co-captain(s) of the Squad may appeal this decision and it will be decided by the League Operators, at which point a new captain may be approved.

                      EDIT: NM, checked with PL and these rules only apply after TWL starts

                        Im not concerned about "having a chance", they aren't even in our conference. I am just a big fan of cheating having its consequences.
