Now... just for starters, im not a baser so please try to refrain from shit talk, but wouldn't a 94-3 in a spider be more recognizable than a 28-0 in terr? i thought a lot of ppl can go with 0 deaths in a terr.

Odd, no one gave me shit when I put Brookus as the TWLB Hot last week and NL> had a ridiculous rec.... why? Because A-S played a much closer game than Sk8 did. As for this week, I didn't participate at all in the Hot or Nots, but I do agree with Megaman not getting the Hot for the week. Because even though Megaman pulled a great record it was against a horrible team, whereas BC is not a horrible team, they were just outplayed.

Try getting 28 kills in a game that lasts 16 mins where youre team is dominating. If they are, you shouldn't get more than 15 kills because the other team never gets in base.

Why are camping spiders being praised so much? 94-3 shows that you just used your teammates and bullet shields and screwed off for 15 minutes. Enough people camp in base/twbd; the last thing we need is people trying to emulate that to get a mention in Hot or Not. eke was doing that in our game (went crazy/whined when he got tked once). Before you know it we'll have people warping out of the base to avoid dying.

i couldn't agree more with stab. i also think, just in general, that these articles are based too heavily on recs. yeah, i know it's basically impossible not to use recs as a major base of comparison, but people need to actually sit down and watch a whole bunch of matches the whole way through so that in their articles they can discuss performances as a whole and not just say, "ohhh man so and so rocked some socks with a 104523432-2 rec!!!"

i'd much rather see a spider getting hot player of the week because he managed to keep an entire enemy team busy chasing him around fr while his team got back into the fray than hear about some camper pulling a high rec.

What I'd like to see is the authors of the hot or nots added to the articles.
I'll tell you why:

Your Brookus hot kinda put a pepper in my pants. Hands down Brookus is the best terr out there atm. But you give him the hotness for his 39-2 and 32k rating. You also give Chief an honorable mention for his 30-2 i think it was. Old rusty wp's score was 44-2 and 33k rating. Doesn't the bearded man deserve an honorable mention for that?

SO. I'm very happy with the Hot or Not's, and with you guyz putting time and effort into it. Now how bout you start adding authornames, and then, when someone get's it horribly wrong, we can all hate on them and leave you and Nickname alone

Aw WP. If it helps, I think that you are playing the best I have seen you play in at least 2 years. You have showed up for both pre-season games and both regular season games, something no one else on your squad as done. Clearly you are stepping up this season and it definitely is helping Diso be a squad that is living up to it's name.

As for HoN, my opinion is that gossip should not be sanctioned by the league. The idea of letting various people write it is just plain stupid, as is the lack of objectiveness and no requirement that the author actually watches the game.
