The thing that amazes me the most is how some pandora players think the fact that they only got 20 secs or so justifies whatever Max B did. Not having a huge effect (which actually might not be true, with tight scores you just never know what could've happened in 20 secs, and anyways, it probably had a big effect on Sk8's teamspirit) doesn't justify cheating.

I witnessed a player in a twl game with excessive lag. I would have removed that player from the game immediately. If sk8 requested, I would have restarted the match. The game could have been played, in a fair state, and a score recorded this week, with no need for any decision making or a rematch.

As it happens, the game was allowed to continue, under unfair conditions, and Bandora won. If sk8 appeal, there will have to be a rematch next week. Regardless, max b should be banned from twl. I encourage staff to make quick decisions to avoid delays and to get games completed as fairly as possible the first time round.

Oh and i'll also mention that the twl rules seem old/incomplete.

Edit: Lag in video 1 is approx. 220ms when in video 2 it's back to the usual 60ms that he has. He must have done something to get his lag higher which would count as lagcheating and end up as a ban for him and a 15-0 loss for pandora. The video shows a lag change, I don't think there's much to argue about.

Unless PL gives the go ahead for refs to use their judgement to force spec a player, it won't ever occur. Perhaps this might have been an easy decision to make to force spec Max, but how about if he just broke through touched flag and was killed or some less controversial but slighyly less laggy situation. Ppl are goin to complain if refs start subjectively speccing players. And ppl trust the bots more than the refs.

Please. Like we're supposed to buy one example (that was handled poorly, IMO) and just forget about all the other cases.

All you other fucks, listen up: the fact remains that even if this kid had just waltzed into the cram and done nothing.. no mining, no bombing, no repping.. his "lag" or whatever the fuck you want to call it would have caused him to tank enough bullets to disrupt a cram that, under normal circumstances, could have very possibly been held at that point for at least an extra 1 minute and 17 seconds, which would have given Sk8 the win. Considering the slim margin of victory, I'd say this incident was a major turning point in the match. How much flag time Pandora got out of it is irrelevant; it's the fact that Sk8's cram was broken using this method in the first place that is utter horse shit.

Part of the blame also rests with the person who hosted this sideshow of a match. Common sense ought to tell you that a person with 300 ping who pulls ridiculous stunts like that should be told to do one of two things: reconnect to the zone or get the fuck in spectator mode. I didn't see the host, or any of the mods that stormed the arena, so much as lift a finger. There's questionable lag, and then there's waltzing in completely unaffected by enemy fire and nearly netting one of the most ridiculous terr kills in the history of TWLB. The latter calls for immediate action, not sitting on your fucking hands.

At the very least, Sk8 deserves a rematch. And I'm sure that's ALL that will happen, because as I previously stated, it appears staff doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings by actually cracking down on bullshit like this.
