course people care if we play again gen. I suggest you take a look at league overall before saying that the few squads who actually still cared this season arent important. a league with 16 pirates and ancients next season would be lots and lots of fun [/sarcasm].

Fact is, its kinda obvious that pl/neth were taking out a grudge on us though..there is no 'maybe' about it. The first time week 6 could very well have been an honest mistake at first but no one wanted to correct it because anzu and under were most likely telling them not to, and those 2 faggots on twl staff arent gonna go out of their way to help us, no matter how right we are. After that point, its all just kids showing us what they can do. No ones going to sign up for a league that someones gonna go out of their way to ensure they cant play in. Combine that with their other shortcomings this year and, well, you can see change is necessary.

Haha, everyone knew that you didn't have what it took to make playoffs. The only people surprised are your squad members.

I also like how you ended up getting 3 PM, you did show up (like you told PL you couldn't), and so did wark or whoever else you were whining about. The world doesn't revolve around your squad members' job schedules so learn to compromise. But first, learn to quit whining.

Now im not completly up2date with how this whole process goes since its pretty much a piece of shit idea in my book, but hey whatever. It seems to me that since this was like the only game this whole weekend why did it have to be hosted at 1 or 3 even? Why wasnt it hosted at 5 pm est? I don think Izor really cares what time it is, im pretty sure all he wanted is what most of us wanted, a game that both squasd could agree on. That dont always happen, but i dont think he is sayin the world revolves aorund his squad. The way i read it is that P_L was asking him if 1 pm was good and he informed P_L why it was not good. The same thing you would of done in his shoes.

just wanna say GG to QS for atleast stayin alive thru the whole league which it seems 90% of new squads cant do anymore. They also were competative in there 1st season, i hope they return next season and make the playoffs like they deserve.

Here're my two cents:

Good game -F- and QS. The whole mini-tourny was somewhat retarded. It SHOULD have been a 3 game round robin. If it came to everyone being 1-1 then go by kill ratio or something. TWL rules really need to be revised for next season. As we saw this season, loopholes were found and abused. Namely the hardlock rule and if you return to your squad in 24 hours it's fine. Now there's such a thing as common sense being displayed by the TWL staff and seeing that an accident could happen and someone could be axed not on purpose. However, here's just a hypothetical situation for you, a captain leaves the squad and then goes forward to post a huge thread about him crying over a loss and bitching that he was done with Trench Wars and returning to his home country where he'll be a rich doctor, DSB. Oh wait, that was Eelam and his fuck-nut loophole which was thoroughly abused this season. Change it because when shit that blatant happens it has a huge impact on the end result. Eelam is one of Pandora's biggest impact spiders and when he has a hissy-fit and leaves his own squad and TWL staff folds like a lawnchair to the said hissy-fit it's fucking pathetic. In closing, fix the rules please.

That situation didn't have too much to do with QS but then again the whole scheduling thing, which I'm partially sympathetic about but shit happens sometimes, might need to be closely inspected next year. If anything this year should teach us some lessons, Quicksand I enjoyed your trashtalking on the forums and the general hate you drew from Trench Wars as a whole. Good season, better luck next year if you stick around.

No, the TWL system was fine I think with the minitourny. Hosting 3 games is tedious and just not necessary, plus what happens if we have a repeat of the regular season that got us tied to that point? The real thing that got us was the +/- from forfeits, which were abundant this season. Like I said I dont mind the result of that minitourny, I just dont agree with how we got to that point.

I'm sorta happy to see people are finally understanding my point on scheduling rules. Hell I looked at the scheduling page before I decided not to accept sk8's sat 4 pm game week 6, and it backed me up in saying that I couldnt get those early sunday times that were full and I knew we couldnt make. If I had thought that we could get one of those slots, I would have accepted a late saturday game at the risk of losing racka who had shit to do. That was never about our small roster or us not being able to show 5 at a given time. I knew what I was doing but unfortunately nethila did not know what he was doing that time. And any attempt to come to a change, including accepting sk8's original time of sat 4 pm was ignored. The other 2 were just plain abuse (or going to be abuse if disq didnt accept my time), and I cant see that changing with the same ops in the future.

I'm also glad that scheduling 6 games in a time slot backfired this season a couple times. This rule is in the TWL site because staff just cant host that much every hour.

Eh, I don't really read the dueling-related stuff on the forums so I don't know much about how QS got their reputation - yes, I've heard about it enough to figure it out, but not having witnessed it myself, I don't have much of a bias either for or against them. That said, has anyone else noticed that almost all of Izor's issue threads had a point and were well written? So far staff hasn't been able to - or haven't wanted to, which is just as bad - address most these problems properly and until that happens, I'm going to believe Izor. Too bad about the majority of replys ignore the entire issue. "Haha, everyone knew that you didn't have what it took to make playoffs. The only people surprised are your squad members."? Way to go guys.

In summary, I just can't help but wonder what would have happened if this rant came from some more popular squad.

Then appealing for this and then not getting a respond on it?

You only have to show 5 players in TWLD, with a roster of 10 commited TWLD players I don't see what the problem would be with any time.

If staff would not have gone with your times the opponent would have been sad, none of both will ever be glad and since you guys don't show any respect to other players I would have favoured the other squads time too.

Why would staff accept an appeal about a timeslot you guys don't like? it's your problem, which is some bad luck and your fault.

If I'm wrong please come up with a clear list of what staff has done wrong and perhaps they could work on it.

i don't get why staff counts a forfeitwin as 50+ kills when it's clearly going to be the decider for who automatically goes through in a threeway tie. in the end squad! got the automatic pass because they got a forfeit win vs Ancients which improved their +6 to +56.. would've been logical to leave the forfeitwins out (or simply the games vs Ancients) and then let -f- go through automatically and then let squad! and qs battle it out for fourth place.

synd vs qs would've been more interesting than synd raping squad!.. but ah well, i don't care since i won't make the playoffs anyhow due to the terrible delays which put us into another summer playoffs...
