haha dont worry quicksand, Pandora didn't get our scheduled time eventhough we did it first, and we got horrible times for us but it dind't matter to us cuz we own and can play with any line. Heheh i dont remember which week, but for one week a team dind't even offer a time and yet we didnt get the time we offered,. it was pretty sad but what can we do.

i don't get why staff counts a forfeitwin as 50+ kills when it's clearly going to be the decider for who automatically goes through in a threeway tie. in the end squad! got the automatic pass because they got a forfeit win vs Ancients which improved their +6 to +56.. would've been logical to leave the forfeitwins out (or simply the games vs Ancients) and then let -f- go through automatically and then let squad! and qs battle it out for fourth place.

synd vs qs would've been more interesting than synd raping squad!.. but ah well, i don't care since i won't make the playoffs anyhow due to the terrible delays which put us into another summer playoffs...

The score should probably be something constant like +10 kill to the team that won the forfeit match. Or you could make it more complicated by taking the avg kill differential from all reg season games (minus the forfeits) and make that the +whatever for the forfeit wins.

Of course I'm mad that no one responded to my appeal. If you didnt play LB which happens to be the only league the ops play in/care about, you might have experienced this. Regardless, if you dont see whats wrong with staff ignoring appeals then I really dont care what you have to say. Kiss more ass maybe you'll get that good treatment in the future

And yeah pasc, I was whining about the +/- if you bothered to read, but seeing how we played against diso/-f- in the regular season, I'm pretty confident we would have won that

Izor brought our situation up again so we feel that a few comments are in place as well, even though this thread has mainly focused on trashing Izor and Quicksand.

What the appeals were about have already been explained and in my opinion they were both, especially the last one, quite valid and should have given us a rematch. However, that is for the TWL Staff to decide, but no resolution to either of the appeals was ever given (it has now been six weeks since the first one). It is said that the appeals are taken care of as soon as possible, but that is apparently not the case. It was disappointing to see that no resolution was ever given.


Having followed the happenings of this season I would say that this season has been a bit more of a joke than before. There are mainly two reasons for that, the behaviour of certain individuals and the general "we do not care what happens" attitude.

I thought TWL was supposed to be the league to be in, the one that is the highlight of Trench Wars and which prestige cannot be compared to others. It seems that I have gravely misunderstood the meaning of that. But we all learn from mistakes and I hope that the staff will strive to improve TWL in the coming seasons.

Nevertheless, season 9 is nearing its end and regardless of what happened during the regular season we have to thank the staff for once again going through all the trouble of arranging another season of TWL. Thanks for that!


Lastly, for all the squads that made it into playoffs, good luck and shoot to kill.

Pascone, the reason the week six appeal was so important is because we took a 0-50 loss to sk8, now even if we didn't beat sk8 we would have atleast gotten 30 kills or so. Which would have solved the +- problem at the end of the season. Because us and squad!! who only beat squads that went 3-7 or below (and us)this season basically, Squad got a +100 bonus to that game by us losing to sk8 in that way. because we had -50 and they had +50. That is why it was such a big deal. I think now that a seriously competitive TWL worthy squad is gone people are starting to see the big picture, about how we got screwed. I mean I was in UFC last night when Pure_Luck was basically mocking Quicksand (even though some of them were being stupid) about dissolving. Does that really sound like something that a non-biased Head TWL op that is in charge of appeals would say? There have been so many problems this season, that could have been easily fixed if we had TWL ops who actually gave a shit. Instead we have been forced to literally bring any problems to the forums in the hopes of someone who a TWL op would actually listen to would talk to them about the problem. Look at the amount of Forfeits this season (I think we had 20) 10-14 of these were in LD, 2-3 were in LJ, and 2-3 were in LB. When you see that both of the TWL Ops were basers, and that 50% or more of the forfeits occured in a league that the ops didn't really care about it becomes pretty obvious that there is a problem. Out of 240 games, 20 forfeits, that is 1/12 of the season forefeited for all leagues, now when you look that 1/8 of LD games were forfeited, it becomes a much larger statistic. I also have talked to quite a few SMODS who agree with me that Nethila really ruined this season, they seem to think PL is just having RL issues, but if he can't run this zone why does he continue to do so but poorly. If this game was real life Pure Luck would be George Bush. Anyways, as TWL seasons continually get worse season after season maybe one day you will kick the corrupted people out of office and try to fix the situation, I just hope it isn't too late.
