Funny how rules 4.02 - 4.05 are justified yet 4.01 is left in the dust.. if you mods are going to disobey the rules to further your relationships with fellow mods on a certain squad, why not just scrap the entire rulebook altogether and post up a big "We do what we want" slogan on the TWL site? That way, we don't have to waste our time trying to justify ourselves only to get some silent treatment in the end.

Rules are rules. You either follow them, or you don't. Don't do a half ass job and keep us guessing whos gonna get what. We clearly -- and I mean CLEARLY -- deserve the replay. If you are going to deny us of that, at least be professional enough to give us a half-decent reason why not.

Well, according to P_L when talking to Disq (in HIS appeal post), playoffs have different rules. And because there are no posted playoff rules, I'm assuming that P_L already scrapped the rulebook. GG TWL.

If you want my take on it (which you obviously don't), the bot crashing didn't have a massive impact on the game, as stated in the rules, since Ikrit continued hosting manually, immediately after he had determined the bot was dead, and told you to continue playing. I wonder why Sk8 didn't stop playing when the scoreboard stopped updating. Probably because they knew you should stop only when the host announces the round will be restarted.

Had the bot crash prevented or reasonably delayed you from subbing players, getting lagged out players in or had host made critical mistakes (like failing to spec/sub people on time) would the conditions for 4.01 and restart/replay have been met. In other words, the bot crashing had no immediate effect on gameplay and didn't prevent the game from proceeding normally.

It was a pleasant surprise to see that the rules were properly applied, and to be honest, restored my faith in the ability of the staff to make the right decisions! ^-^
