What will the semi-final matches be like?
Since we are having cross-conference play-offs i am guessing schedule would be as followed...

Q1. Nr1 conf A vs Nr4 conf B
Q2. Nr2 conf A vs Nr3 conf B
Q3. Nr3 conf A vs Nr2 conf B
Q4. Nr4 conf A vs Nr1 conf B

S1. winner Q1 vs winner Q3
S2. winner Q2 vs winner Q4

Finals: winner S1 vs winner S2

This way the Nr. 1 and Nr. 2 of a conference can face each other in final... and Nr. 1 conf A faces Nr. 1 conf B if both conferences are equal... I am guessing this is the way the play-offs will be, i am not sure though that is why I am asking...

If it is done this way... the semi-finals for TWLJ will be (if the games count and no appeals are taking into consideration) like this:

Pirates vs Boz
Syndicate vs Dice

no offence, i like pirates, they got eva, singer, u, herc, etc.

and i like boz, they got acumo and lagua


but, i want to see a real twlj finals, not pirates or boz vs syndicate....therefore, i hope tw staff makes it more interesting, and puts something like boz vs synd, pirates vs dice, or boz vs dice, synd vs pirates.

this game is all about entertainment, it's free entertainment. i hope that it turns out this way.

If a squad manages to get in to the final of a twl despite people thinking they are crap...well all the more shame on all the other squads who didnt beat them.

Apparently you didn't read my last sentence, it wasn't sarcasm, I never claimed you were wrong, infact I even asked if I did something wrong. I just tried following the standings that were shown to me on the TWL site, I made the mistake though of not going through each team seeing who won the head to head matchups which would reflect on the standings. No need to get all bitchy at me like a little child Pjotter. Get some class. I'm not even going to bother with your american comment, just shows me who the real ignorant one is.

Back to the topic at hand, where there was an actual discussion going on before someone's head exploded. I don't really care who we play in the semi's, in the past seasons I played it seemed like the two best teams always played eachother in the semi-finals anyway, which always led to a less exciting final. I personally don't even know why this league does cross-conference playoffs. I thought that the whole point of conferences was to get the best team out of each conference to play eachother in the final. Syndicate or Dice playing Pirates or BoZ in the final would be a snoozefest in my opinion.

I would have to say every twlj game is going to be a snoozefest no matter what. Look at the teams remaining:

Pirates
Boz

None of the teams are that good. All lost a lot of skill during the season.

First of I'd like to apoligize to demonfaze for misinterpreting him... Yes, you were wrong because you looked at the standings instead of the seedings after head2head taken into consideration... things like that can happen I guess...
What I do not get however is that we were 2nd in final standings without head2head taken into consideration and you make it look like we were 3rd... Just weird i guess, we probably have different IE or webbrowser thingy that shows different things...

If you this would be the case... the supposedly #1 west conf would play the #1 east conf... that doesn't make sense, now does it?

There aren't to many javelins left atm that are in my opinion good enough to play in a final of twlj. The average skill has dropped enormously.... I am probably at 60 to 70% of how good I used to be, yet i am still one of the best 20 javs in this game (and I'm being modest here). I've never been seen as one of the greatest javs(big rec scoring ones), yet all those great javs rather play other great javs then me. That is because I am probably one of the best dodging javs in the game EVER... *sidenote* Also if I play to the greatest I am able of just degrading anyone, making even the best javs look like newbies, at those moments there isn't anyone that even comes close to holding up with me, too bad for me I only play at my best about 1 hour a year (and yes rough, when I was in that 1vs1 against you there happened to be 5-10mins of that yearly hour... at those moments, even I amaze myself...) *sidenote*


If you look at the best javelin team at the moment... which is in my opinion syndicate... they have a line of: demonfaze, rough, amputate, fireballz and merce with 1st substitute rule if i am correct...
Merce is even worse then me atm, the only reason he gets to play is cause of his name in the past... He tries to play the same way as he has always done, but that is not possible cause his teammates back him up a different way making him die more and making him get less kills... He also lacks consistancy atm...
demonfaze and fireballz just know how to position really well and hardly ever make mistakes when clearing of easy targets making them good team-players yet they aren't 'that' good individually...(we are talking here about top-notch, 5 of this type will never win a championship...)
Amputate and rough make this team either win or lose against teams equally strong(which there are none of atm) cause they are the persons that show the most creativity on this team (unpredictable nice shots, great moves etc)... yet they are still not that creative themselves...
summary:
Merce: if at his best he goes atleast +3 every game and gets a +10 or higher every once in a while...(he just is at 50% of how he used to play)
Fireballz: will always go around + or - 2 against good opponent, in other words he's a good filler
Demonfaze: see fbz
Rough: Might go +10 one game and -5 the next will average like +3 or 4 a game
Amputate: see rough
