Well thats your opinion, and I'm not trying to change it. But the facts are this: You guys lost to Syndicate. We beat Syndicate. So how is Spastic better?? lol

You weren't there to prove it, we were. So if you look at it, you're just going on an opinion. What I'm going on is a fact.

I'm not really trying to get involved in this whole thing because I think its a pretty pointless argument to begin with but I can't help but to say some things.

First off, comparisons like that just never work drow, you can't prove your better than another team by beating a team that they lost to, it's just very sketchy. Even if you were trying to make that comparison the only way it can hold any ground is if Syndicate beat Spastic with the same exact lineup that they lost to -Final- with, which wasn't the case. Syndicate showed a better lineup against Spastic (and still almost lost) than we did against Final. Infact if we showed that lineup that we lost to -Final- with against Spastic in the semi-finals there is a good chance we would of lost that game and Spastic would've been in the finals.

Also Cumulonimbus' comment was just...well...wow. That is a pretty overboard theory you got there, and it did come off like your head grew 5x the size after winning TWLB or something. I mean I can say the same thing about Syndicate in TWLJ, we went undefeated the reg season and went through playoffs and won TWLJ but even I know our team isn't unbeatable. Every team can be beaten, I don't care how good the team is. No offense or anything though Cumul, I don't know you really well or anything so you're probably a good guy, that comment just doesn't come off right.

Not taking anything away from -Final- by the way, you guys definitely deserved to win TWLB this season. You guys showed good depth by being able to go through the playoffs even while missing some starters and won the games when they mattered the most. Great season.

Thats a solid take, Df. I definitely see your point of view.

But with these lineup's, it's a little tricky. A lot of teams have an issue with them to a certain degree. I'm sure almost every team can make a case how they wish so&so was on for them at a particular time/game. But at the end of the day, you have to make due with what you got and go with it. The teams that show the most depth, usually will prevail. Or if a team that was use to missing a key player or two, can find a way to adjust easier because they already were use to it. I think every championship team has had to deal with some sort of intangibles along the way. Thats what makes them the winners, IMO

As for your TWLJ comment, you're not giving yourself enough credit. You guys were fantastic and showed a lot of mental toughness to come back against us when most teams would have folded and lost. If you said you were unbeatable, it would be hard to argue some of that. It's those type of comebacks that make you think, "damnit they just won't go away lol."

Overall, you're right about this debate (it really is pointless). I guess I got too bored and decided to take the bait. lol

We lost to Pandora and Syndicate in the regular season too (who didn't we lose to in the reg season). Diso we were leading before a bot problem earlier in the season, so had to replay the game in the 'makeup' week of TWL. If I'm not mistaken, I saw on TWL stats -f- didn't even have 8 players to play in the replay-game. We played with 6 players or something. Perhaps someone can confirm that for me, since I wasn't on that day.

You lost to Sk8 in basing. So I guess they can say they should have been in the playoffs and were better than you?? lol

Hero, I don't really want to make this into a -F- vs Spastic type of thread. 1) there are some ppl I respect on that squad, so I don't want to offend them in ANY way. 2) It's pointless. I'm sure you're smart enough to realize the importance between regular season games and playoff games. We got hot and beat some damn good teams in the process and made it happen. You lost. So you can only assume and hope what could have happend.

Thats it, and I'm going to leave it at that.

It's nice that he's so proud of winning. He should be. But saying something like "afk polishing trophy" is something I would expect from Dice. There's no need to rub your pride in other people's faces. The losing wheel always comes back around to find everyone.
