HoN hasn't been that great =/

I mean.. they just look at the stats and then go like: "heyy my friend xxx did nice rec again. He is definately the hot player of the week."
or
"oh man that squad x sucks.. everyone hates them and they lost to defending champs. They all are the not players of the week."

It should be like, the BEST player of the week.. i mean, rec doesn't matter that much if you help your team to take the game. For example i've never seen any sharks on hot or not lists, even if they had carried their team to victory/loss. How many times have a read an hot article of some campy spid vs some crappy underdog squad. "Woo he did awesome 80-2 rec vs the worst squad in league!! definately the best player of the week"

What there has been, haven't often been the real hot/not players of the week. It's just another popularity contest just like TWLM is mostly. Sure there are players that want to win it, but mostly ppl don't carse about it and buy players who are their friends.

Spectators can't be focused on each individual rep that a particular shark does, then tracks it throughout the match and gauges it against a terrier's performance, that's nearly impossible. Instead, you can blame how our system works because TeKs, kills/deaths, points are what come out at the end. Don't expect a shark to get on the Hot listing unless they have something spectacular like 5+ TeKs and like 1:1 ratio or something.

Only the team Caps know if a player is doing what has been asked, spectators have no idea. All the spectators see is a player camping, but if that is what the player has been told what to do, then he is being a team player.
The idea of letting the public offer subjective opinions on the games is exactly what these forums are for, why put it on the league web site? Doing this gives league sanction to these subjective opinions.
HoN continues to be the worse idea to ever be considered in TWL. It is nothing more than a gossip column and a vehicle for people to grind their personal axes. If the league wants to sellout for cheap sensationalism simply because it is a popular feature, then perhaps it ought to post pics of Telcats boobs or logs of PL’s cybering.
