Isn't it really easy to just make a new rule stating something like:

A TWL round begins at (first available timeslot) on Saturday. Even if this timeslot has is not being used for any game. And ends at (last available timeslot) on Sunday, even if this timeslot is not being used for any game.

Add that rule, anywhere really, and you have stated when TWL starts for every single rule that has anything to do with the starting time of TWL.

I spoke to Reaver about this before 4th march, when to leave the squad to get active for next week. But he is just the TWD Op, so I did a help call and ask for a TWL Op and this TWL Op said, it's all good if you leave now. Don't remember who and he said it's all good.

Maybe there is a Log about my help call to make this clear!

If my statement is wrong the Rules won't be updated, but let's see there will be an update, due to my problem. To make it clear for anyone, when I read the Rules it wasn't clear for that point and you had the decision to let me play or don't let me play. But you decided against me due to the fact, I would have played Sake for that game.

what is excessive? what is cruel? what is unusual? none of these are defined, similar to rule 5.04 and the definition of period.

It's also written for a community of almost 300 million people, while the TWL rules are written for about 1000 at most. Not to mention the fact that there aren't nearly as many gray areas in regards to the rules of this two dimensional video game, there's no reason many of these rules cannot be black and white. Yes, it could be a little clearer and more defined, and if anything comes of this thread, it should be that very fact.

Please, I'm sure you could find a much better analogy than legislation that governs people's lives to that of a small medium of entertainment.

i'm sorry, but spikey already said this, there is a possibility to schedule games at saturday, which happens almost every week. I'd think you'd realize that the TWL weekend begins on saturday, not on sunday..

twl weekend has been saturday and sunday for many years now, there is no discussion about this.. if you leave on twl weekend you sit out the next week.

Basically there is no need for a lawyer, there is a little need of intelligent to think if each situation which could happen. Thinking of that is just logical, not like I had to, reading between the lines of rules, that's anything but logical

Just to clarify, if you really were going to appeal that match, you probably should have sent in an e-mail right after the disputed game. Talking about it here on forums isn't an appeal.


And Nim, yes that convo actually happened. I don't remember the specifics cause I was playing in ?go base or something at the time.

Actually, I think Pascone is doing a fine job. Matches are running smooth. Overall there is nothing really to complain about. He is doing a much better job then Nethila did. Cloth left Squad!! last week and could not play this week for us. I was pissed at Barton before for giving me a bullshit warning,so ignore my previous post.. Get of Pascone's Nuts. Gj Pascone......

I agree with SS and I will say now that Pascone is probably more revolutionary than anyone I've seen in charge of TWL since Juan and Leo. He isn't held back by the old argument, "it's always been that way, so why change?" Instead, he actually does what is going to be the best for the most players possible.

And Pascone, I didn't mean to imply that it is your fault the rules were written that way. I just figured someone would have thought when they wrote the word "period" they would also think to define what the hell that means. Overall, you do a swell job of keeping things smooth and of keeping the squads and captains involved in the decision-making process. Keep up the good work!
