Appeal decision from Pandora: Denied

I agree with some of your points tho, this could have been handled better, but I believe in being adamant about rules is important with so many assholes around.

But if their request is denied because of rumors that Mouse axed Eelam you can't really say staff has been adamant. Okay, we all know that Mouse axed Eelam in an anger fit, but this would mean staff has to judge every case separately from now on, which would end up being subjective and time consuming.
Someone removed from the roster? If an email is received within 24 hours to re-submit the player, the player gets added back to the list, if not, the player can't play in TWL anymore.
I simply can't understand how one can disagree to this, other than because it's Pandora, a squad we love to hate.

thank you NAS for pointing that out and thank you APOC for what you said. The reason i believe i am not in league is because 1. this deals with pandora and 2. it is me. If this dealt with -final- and with a player like Domi, we wont be having this conversation right here. IF you guys wanna read the rules anally than I can do it as well, Na$ just brought up my point. We will surely be sending in another appeal trying to overrule this. Until you can prove that mouse axed me purposely or that w/e reading me/nas/apoc share about the rule 5.08( i think ) the 24 h is wrong i should be allowed back onto roster. The onus is on staff to prove all this not us, because all of pandora including myself and mouse said it was an accident, what more do you need.

I don't know Pandora at all, so I'm 100% unbiased on this one.

I've put in my 2 cents, and I'll stick by them, I'm not going to post more posts arguing about this because I really don't care that much about a squad I can't remember I've dealt with.

Highlights being Vatican not understanding that being axed makes you squadless and thus an "addition", Na$'s request for 60,000 lines of rules to cover every potential loophole ("OMG the rules don't say that if I wear blue underwear as I axe someone that he can't come back"), and eelam's belief that this is a courtroom and staff needs to prove anything. Even better is the mindset that staff is somehow out to get pandora. If they were, you would have been specced for lag prior to this.

Can everyone from Pandora please shut the fuck up and get the fuck over yourselves? None of you are martyrs. If you don't understand how this appeal was denied then it's your problem, not staff's.

Ok so, your squad is getting hit with the first part of the rule Not in your favor, but the second part which you ever so desperately try to make sound more important than the first actually is in your favor about the 24 hours, but the thing is the first part of the rule, IS the first part of the rule so that it overpowers the rest of the rule, if the first part of the rule is against what ever happend then the rest of it is negate, the rest would not matter at all because you have already stopped dead in your tracks before you got to the second part of the rule, so fighting to try and make the "Oh it was a mistake we fixed it in 24 hours" would not apply at all, find a new argument.

My point of discussion is that you don't need proof. Now in this situation it's probably very easy to proof Eelam was axed. But every case can be different when you interpret the rules in this way. It's easier and clearer to put it in the way I brought forward. There will never be room for bias, just a clear line where TWL ends for a player.

Yeah, but the rule is set for this TWL season, it can be changed and probably will be changed for the next season.

By being adamant I mean not changing rules mid season unless it's an extreme situation. One player in a TWL squad isn't an extreme situation.

Oh, and it's hard to make rules that isn't possible to find loopholes in, even in real life law we got these loopholes.

like i said the captains ARE the captain of the squads, whatever they do, the whole squad should be taken responsible for aswell.. as for this case, unless they decides to all leave pandora and make a new squad, until then, what mouse did = what pandora did..

I didn't read every single post, so i don't know if this was mentioned...
But my 2 cents says..

If a squad member was taken off the roster and the captain and the ex squaddie say something like, OMG what are we doing? Get back on the roster!
Then the captain puts him back on the roster and emails staff within 24 hours stating for what-ever reason, regardless, said squaddie was taken off the roster and put back on.

In other words, the 24 hour thingy should be the only catch.

Just say, If a squad member is removed from the roster and put back on, in order for the player to still be eligible, it must happen within a 24 hour period along with an email to staff stating the situation.

Nothing to judge other than did staff receive an email notice within 24 hours of the squad member intitially taken off the roster.

Other wise, just say that once you're off, you're done. :fear:

Having an entire squad pm'ing you about something only one person can truly know was an accident or not, makes it all just more suspicious. After all, only Mouse is the one that saw what happened when you were put off the roster. To make it worse, since he's the only one who can truly know, he even boasted about axing you in ?go base.

When he did what he did in ?go base, it proves more than anything you can counter-prove that he did it on purpose, and then had a change in heart and wanted to recruit you back. (YES, kicking someone from your squad and then putting them back is re-recruiting, even if the kick was under 24 hours)
