Well'p, that was fun, I guess. 11 weeks of regular season, 2 weeks of pre-season, and a fuckload of weeks of anticipation and now we're on the threshold of the playoffs. Personally I found the level of mediocrity this season to be somewhat shocking, maybe that's why the standings were pretty close. However, just looking at a quick glance of people's preds of the standings there are a couple suprises. I'm just going to quickly go over a few of my TWLB-X memories, please share your thoughts on the season too. Oh right, and playoff preds too, those would be nice. I don't see any threads open for that yet and I was hesitant to post this thread because I don't want to be the first one to post but hey, whatever.

4) BasingCrew- They were disqualified? What the fuck? I mean, I've never been a big fan of Sumpson or the 'Crew but I never thought they'd be disqualified. Their small roster has seemed to do them fine for the past couple seasons but I guess it was their demise. Some people saw their poor performance coming but some people also ranked them highly before the season began. Personally, I thought they'd be in the middle, pushing for the 6th playoff spot. But hey, look at where they turned out: disqualified. Eehh, no big loss. They made way for Brainwave's undefeated season.

3) Mambo- I really have no idea. I mean, looking at the predictions thread for the regular season everyone had you guys making the playoffs. Some even had you ranked as high as 3rd. I just don't know what happened with you guys so maybe you can offer some information. I know having your starting terr lagout pretty much every match wouldn't help but maybe there were other things.

2) Anti-Scrub- Good run, guys. By far the best squad out there and I'm glad the legacy continues with Endings.

I kind of lost inspiration to write a lengthy post so maybe our good friend PaulOakenfold can take over where I stopped short. As for the playoffs (assuming they're re-seeded after the first round):

Quarters:

Right now you are looking at 3 squads who had a very strong finish (Thunder, Penetrate, and Spastic) and 1 squad that stopped trying around Week 7. Actually, fuck it, -F- hasn't been trying this entire season and yet they still come out with a playoff spot. Bastards. Either way Spastic's got the shark mojo working for them and some solid spiders at that which is why I think they'll beat out Penetrate. As for -F- and Thunder, if -F- shows a lineup then there'll be no question about the score. However, there certainly is a chance that they might not in which case Thunder could take the win with 'em.
