Fistula deserves to be in TWLJ as much as Plade does.

And many more players who have a respectable position in the javelin ranks, seem to think that your formula for choosing twl squads is flawed. Why not step down off your high horse and just take a minute to review all this. There is a few serious mistakes in it.

- On day of qualification, mambo was around 30 pts ahead of fistula in lj and about 30 pts behind in avg rating? With no games played in over a week.

- Plade the day before qualification was at a 1000 rating, and played 2-3 high pts squads to even get a spot behind fistula in lj.

- Squads that come in real late in the twd season have a way easier time getting avg rating up, because most squads are above 1100 rating. While squads that play from the beginning of the season play a lot of good squads when their ratings are low.

- Fistula had no warning that they may lose their spot in lj, so had no real reason to worry about gaining pts at the last minute. Sure you said you would take into account the squads played against. But to me it doesn't look like fistula played ez squads all the time.

When did TWL become Trenchwars popularity league? I remember squads having to battle each other in twd to gain their entry into TWL. If squads are hand picked why even have a twd pts system anymore?

So as I was falling asleep the other night, obviously thinking about nothing else other than our lack of invitation to TWLJ, I came up with a hypothetical but highly possible situation that may have occurred minutes before 5 PM Qualification Day.

The Plade squadron was 70 points, yes 70, 7 to the 0 points behind us in TWLJ with about 20 minutes left till 5 PM (let me reiterate, 70 points behind us). Now obviously, they knew they were not going to be able to get 70 point (more like 71) in 20 minutes, but they decided to get two JDs going anyway. As I sat innocently in spectator mode I wondered why they would waste their time doing such a thing.

Now, after several hours of delineation I have concluded that Dreamwin or some other homofaggot like that must have spoken with pascone or someone of the like about them qualifying. My guess is, this anonymous staff member may have told them "If you get within 30 points I can PROBABLY pull some strings and BS you guys into TWLJ." So, Plade played (haha what a pun).

Of course, Plade challenged us but we only had s4j3n, Janitor, Mr. 420, and myself. Clearly not a formidable javelin lineup. So, of course, we did not accept. We deemed ourselves a lock in LJ and thus did not play anyone; however, had we known that by Plade getting in 30 points or however many it was of us that our LJ spot would be in question, we most surely would have played (haha what a pun) them.

Essentially, everything I just said had little to no significance and really all that I would like to say is that one of the preseason LJ games can be a qualifying matching between Plade and Fistula. And seeing as how Maketso said he was more than willing to do this (note: he is the owner of Plade and thus has supreme authority over the squad) I see no reason why it should not be done.

We didn't ask for this, so please shut the fuck up already. If Fistula want's to play vs us for LJ spot, i'm in.

Granted, I don't think Confluence (fistula's supreme ruler) has suggested a battle for the last spot but seeing as how staff is leaning in favor of Fistula I'm sure Conf would consider it better than nothing.

You can solve this problem easily ... If a situation like this comes up wheres there is conflict why is staff the only people aloud to choose who is in..? There will always be biased that way ... Why not take a poll Let the players decide Staff vote count for 50% and player vote count for the other 50 That way what can someone bitch about?

But this might be a little to complex for you guys now wouldnt it..

I think this matter should be settled fairly, and not end in name calling and discontent. 1 Game - 3 rounds. Both squad's deserve the opportunity to be in TWLJ. The better squad will move on, and a pointless argument will be over.

To TWL coordinators: it's not about being sorry and it's not about who is wrong or right. Your decision is not being carried by a huge part of the TW community and breaks your own rules. Arrange a match where Plade and Fistula can decide themselves in 3 rounds which squad will qualify.
It's in the favour of TWL-J anyways. The best goes in...
We have preseason anyways, so it's not too late.

This is what I saw. This means that as long as you play 15 games, the top 12 ratings for each league will make it thru. If there were other factors involved, it should have been stated here. Since you didn't state it, you can't just change the rules yourself! That would be like saying oh, you got a 80% on the test, but I forgot to mention that you need a 90% on it to pass.... You fail the class!
