I think this would be improved if the winner of twl had to play against chosen all stars from all the rest of the squads that competed that season in the specific league. The winners of that league would have to prove themselves against the supposed 'best' of the rest combined and it would also give the rest a chance to take down the champions.

In my opinion nickname was the only thing that made the allstar weekend any fun. None of the allstars EVER show, including reserves. I think anyone playing in the game thought it was funny to see nick subbed in, INCLUDING THE GUY WHO HE SUBBED WHO ASKED FOR HIM TO SUB IN. No one was missing out on getting a chance to play because everyone who showed up and was on the list got to play. If you want us to put in someone who wasn't voted to be on the allstar list, why not add someone such as nickname and add some comedy to the event... I mean this was an exhibition game played for fun and it seems like the only person who didn't have fun was you.

I think everyone agrees that the allstar game is a joke and should be scrapped. People also love fueling their egos and having their name put up on the forums listing that they are an allstar, hence all the bitching this year prior to the allstar game. Next year (if there is a next twl year), they should just name a regular season mvp from each squad in each league and scrap any allstar game. Maybe have 4 to 5 weeks of twldm with a twldm finals on saturdays during playoffs.

Instead of making it Red team vs. Blue team. Just have a list of allstars that were voted to play. Then, with enough time in advance, confirm that at least enough of those voted in will show up. Kind of like the matches that have the scheduled times confirmed by the captains. Then, on the day of the games, have the captains pick from the list of people that showed up.

The whole friggin day was abused by staff powers.. Look at the post of the LD match; atm got to play twice in the same friggin game! Why couldn't have someone else that played during the season have been put in? Staff fucked the games up with their incompetence - Thats the bottom line!

i think twl all star matches/weekend needs to be reconsidered...if next season there is such an inactivitity and 'lack of interest' again then the all star weekend should just be scrapped. A waste of a weekend tbh, it's like watching wbduel or javduel with the lack of people who turn up for it.

this is what happens when people (subs included) don't bother to show. i think four of my starters and two of my subs (including one who couldn't play since both starting sharks showed) were actually there. i wasn't even supposed to be capping this train wreck.

bottom line: all this bitching about all-star weekend needing to be done right was for nothing. the blue team's designated captains were no-shows all the way around, and the ld game was 4 on 4 with one player getting 19 deaths. but what the fuck do you expect us to do when our so-called "stars" don't care enough about this shit to log the fuck on? fuck you and fuck this three-ring circus. don't even bother with this next season, if there is one.

If the "stars" had bothered to turn up, it would have been fine...

As even with the subs not enough showed to have a full game. The LD was gonna be 3v3 for a while.... Check the teams, the blue team was mostly made up of red team subs. In a situtation where one "all-star" team is made up of subs from the other team to make a game the game didnt mean shit to begin with .

The call i made in both the LD and LB was to put a game on and make it entertaining, rather than competative and accurate...as not enough of the star's had shown up anyway to make any result meaninful anyway.....

The alternative would have been to just cancel the shit...
