You're just a HUGE COLLOSAL EGOTISTICAL ASSHOLE. Jealousy is far from me. I'm just thinking about all the people that played during the season and wanted to play in the allstars. The only people that were entertained by you were the people on staff that could see themselves tossing your salad or sucking your tailpipe. It sucked and has sucked for the last few seasons because staff makes sure it sucks. It was because of staff's poor planning and lack of effort & insight that made the day suck. It had nothing to do with people not showing up. There were plenty of people that showed up. Everyone of you people.. ph, a2m, soild & flabby had a part in making a mockery of what could have been a day of legitimate & decent day of TWL Allstar games. Quit your weakass god damn excuses. YOU FUCKED UP. Shame the fuck on you. You know damn fucking well YOU could have made it better.. if only YOU CARED ENOUGH. It's your fucking fault, not the people that didn't show.

Oh wow did I hurt a nerve. I cannot tell you how much joy is in my heart knowing I made you upset because of text I wrote on a forum. It makes me smile from ear to ear, it really does. by the way, I play you like a fiddle.

a2m/ the first season of all star games was actually quite okay, i guess because it was still something new, the ppl who got voted in actually showed up.. but like every game/event which gives absolutely zero reward, ppl who are actually good stop showing up, and the only ppl who are wanting to participate are those who are FAR from being all-stars (like NICKNAME)

A) thats exactly the problem, nobody shows up. The reason I was in the LJ all-star game two years ago is because we were short. I don't mean 'short one guy' I mean short 4. Think about that. You need 10 guys, we name what, 14? 16? and I had 6 guys show up. I know I played, I forget who else did, but it was people who were good but weren't all-stars, but when nobody shows up people lose the right to complain. You voted for them.

Just the court jester that staff mistakenly and unfairly felt needed to be called upon. It wasn't at all about you, never was. You're a joke... a pathetic one at that. Fyi, I've participated in allstar games in LD, and several lb games (at least 3 all star games, maybe 4, though I probably stopped bothering to show up).. also got appointed as cap one time.. but it was always boring because I'd be facing ppl like you who don't even play twl.. -_-

ps. Everyone (except HeavenSent) loves Kookie, so in a way he's quite a winner at online 2d-spaceshipshooting imho.

It means America is dying and by 2010 it won't exist as a Constitutional Republic anymore. The American majority are too concerned with their own lives to notice and/or to bother looking at the facts to see it happening. It's much easier to deny it and ridicule any mention of it. Several bills have been passed since 9/11 that completely make the Bill of Rights & the Constitution null & void. America has been taken over from within and the only thing they need now to solidify their power is a national crisis where they can institute martial law to round up those who would rebel against them. The RFID chip will be another method they'll use to single out the opposition. There's already over 600 vacant detention (FEMA) camps all across America just waiting for that big day of round-up.

Except that you posted what? 3 or 4 posts about only me? You needed to post screenshots, you did research on the twl website, so on and so forth. Did it take a lot of time? Nope. But don't for a second pretend that it wasn't meant with malice towards me. First off, I retired in November of 2007. Since then I've logged on i'd guess 8 times total, for probably a combined time total of 4 hours or so excluding the at least 2 or 3 hours I was online sunday. Don't give me some bullshit about 'you would have played during the season' As I was playing in TWL before you were playing this game. I've done the TWL thing and I had more than my fill. Am I a selfish, ego driven asshole? Not at all. I fully admit to being an asshole to marks and people who deserve (you sir by the way, are both)

And with bragging as hard as I can, the All-Star game would have been even more of a joke had I not shown up. Then it would have been worthless AND boring, now it was just worthless. Insert some more insults at you that you seem to think hurt me for some reason. If you're going to insult people at least learn to go after something legit, like how you were preaching too a bunch of kids about the word of god not too long ago, or how about the fact that in the words of bram (who is never wrong, unless he says I suck)

If we want people to show for the All-Star game, we will have to do a big 'Hot or Not' web page for the game.
That way, everyone will be concerned about who gets flamed and all the other good gossip that this community seems to care about. :P

Let me just ask...who should have been running it, and why would it have had any different outcome? Personally I think this TWL was quite crap because of lost interest in the league amongst the players - including me.

ok, first off ill agree with the lost interest, HOWEVER let me put it this way, the newer generation of players are more than capable of stepping up and should. Da1 you werent always an all star anything, and there were players before you that were running things, and you didn't matter. However, one day players of your generation got good and lo and behold they are the good players today. Well I'm pretty sure the new generation has to do that, and hopefully will.

and as far as WHO should be running it, well thats not really my call is it? I am not staff let alone a high ranked staff member. I won't bash anyone specific in this stuff. What I will say is that it SHOULD be run differently. For one, I think there needs to be less squads in twl. It's quite obvious that there were not enough skilled squads in the LD and LJ divisions (I dont follow basing so I wouldn't know about them). The replacement squads were bad also, considering I don't think any of them at least in the LD side won a game.

I have another thread on what should be different next season, which really is small scale stuff not a huge change to the entire system. Small steps I guess right?

Kim mentioned in a pm the other day that he thought to help fix TWL, the entire staff should be on the TWL team not a small section of them. This would make TWL a high priority for everyone, and so all opinions would matter on the subject. I think it was a good idea myself. Then you can't blame a single individual or two for twl being bad, because it wasn't really pascones fault that there were shitty squads this season.
