i do think the rule should be changed to a minimum of 7 members for lj and ld squads; 7 players is all that is needed for both of these leagues, 5 starters + 2 subs. It's harsh on build but rules are rules. gl diso

If a squad is removed from the league during the season, it will be replaced by the highest ranking team on the TWD ladder which is currently not in that division of Trench Wars Leagues that chooses to join.

This is a perfect example of why the need to be rewritten in a clearer way. What is "the season" (does it include the playoffs?), what is "highest ranked". Neither of these terms are defined. Which means we end up with these highly ambiguous situations.

Reading the rules I would agree. As Build has been removed during the season they should be replaced from the highest TWD squad.

Another point to take into account is when was Build technically fielding an invalid team? when did there 8th member leave? If it was some weeks previous argument, i would suggest the appeal should have been made then, not now....

I think its obvious what is happening here. Izor was on Quicksand for 3 years and managed to get screwed by staff every year. He then joined Build, leading them along with Kyouraku to a 50-49 rout of Disoblige and providing Build the win they needed to get into the playoffs. Staff couldnt allow this offense to go unpunished, so they had to conveniently interpret a rule (roster minimum) to get Build ousted from TWL and break one (next highest TWD squad) to get Disoblige into the playoffs and undo what Izor had single handedly made possible

I want to make this clear, in No way did we play for 4+ months only to get booted out of playoffs due to a rule like this, we obviously wanted to play.

Also, for 1 month+ we have had 7, for 2 month+ we had 8, when he finally logged on after 2 months of absence, he left to go dd.

I also want to know why didnt a twd ladder squad replace us, and will there be auto quali next season, and will we be included?

I am One of the TWL Ops, And this is no way the opinion of the other TWLstaff. This is just common sense.

If build was replaced by the top TWDD squad... The record build would have would be deleted. The new squad does NOT inherit the previous squads record. And that new squad would start 0-0. Not enough to qualify for the playoffs. The next best squad IN TWLD was Disoblige. Therefore they qualified.

What would you like us to do... Announce the squad that was 0-0?
