I see where this is going, it would be a great way to make this
game one step more interesting, w/out having everyone hang in the elims and forums all day long. If your goal is to get public attention [Server], numbers and figures obviously won't help. Moderators should understand that this game needs much needed variation in its gameplay, and this "third-party" integration would be a great way to further encourage dedication to the game, while attracting others; so you moderators (yes you :P ), should read these constructive ideas with an open mind, and if Server luckily can get those helpers for HTML coding and such, perhaps this idea is a go.

So... What i need help for is...

I need a site and database where/with/that...

- I can add scores of players manually after every weekend from site to database

- I can add twl players and starting values from site to database (values will update automatically)

- Everyone can sign up as manager on site and have account and password

- Every manager can manage his/her team, sell and buy players from list

- Database would count values and points from recs in database

umm... cant think of anything else now... 9am and i havent slept :P ... lol

Fantasy subspace would be fun (as long as you can get past the fact that we're doing this for a 2d spaceship game). But honestly with twl starting for real in under 3 weeks you're going to be really pressed for time. Best of luck to you, but I think you may have to consider the option of working on making the website yourself to get it done in time.

i have a question though. Will all league enrolled players start out at the same "value" or will that change in the second season of this new "integration". If not all players begin on the same foot, how will that be determined? Based on TWD records?

i posted this before "twl-d has 16 squads... i'll divide those to 4 starting value groups...
4 best squads imo.. and every member of that squad will cost $400
4 next best $300... next $200... next $100..."

but it could be also based on twd scores...

cant start everyone with same value.. would be too lame to get "elites"

i think having a draft league would be pretty cool.. like making trades ect..lets say if a team wants to get better at basing, they trade some duelers for some basers.. ect. but it will be really hard to put this thing together though.

I think i may be able to help you, i have some database experience and i think i have a few concepts which could be integrated, i love the idea. I need to speak to a few friends who are more experienced than myself but let me get back to you. If i can't get together anything physically productive i am still willing to assist in design/ideas and maintence.

Just get the idea... PLAYERS WONT GET INTO DIFFERENT SQUADS OR ANYTHING... it's fantasy thing.. get the points morons

the one potential bug i see for you is if some1 changes squads between squads with different values. do they keep their old value or get a new one assigned to the squad they move to?

if it changes, that'd matter for ppl who "have" that person in their team

oh yeah, and you have to do alot in a really short amount of time. . .

the value every player starts is just starting value.. after this starts.. it doesnt matter if you leave to another squad..

but i have something in my mind so starting system wouldnt be like that
