As we iron out all the details in the new TWL website, we came across a predicament. After talking about how to solve it, we came up with the option of removing soft lock, but keeping hard lock at Round 3.
Right now we have it set up to work like this:
End of Pre-season: roster rules and waiting period take effect.
End of Round 1 of TWL: Soft lock takes effect. This means TWL players can not join another TWL squad, but TWD players can join a TWL squad.
End of Round 3 of TWL: Hard lock takes effect. No players can join a TWL squad.
This is how it would work if we got rid of Soft Lock:

Last season Soft Lock was at Round 3 and Hard Lock was at the end of Round 6. Since we moved hard lock earlier, is it necessary to keep Soft Lock at Round 1, so early in the season?
