**If only 3/4 TWDC squads accept the invite, the next squad in line will not be invited. Instead, because of the issue of time and competition, the TWDC squads in 3rd and 4th place will play each other, with the highest-ranked squad getting a bye to the TWDC finals. Following this pattern, if only 2 accept, they will play 1 game against each other in order to decide who gets the last TWL spot. **

hmm, first weekend of twl is december 6th-7th, then the second week, and then the third week takes us to the 20th-21st. are we even going to have twl on those days? just curious considering it's pretty close to christmas, i know last year we didn't play on the 22nd or 23rd or whatever. i'm expecting we'll get the 27th-28th off for sure seeing as a lot of people will be on christmas holidays. will we get january 3rd-4th off as well? oh sheesh mantra's sarcasm is not entirely misguided

This is what seperates the real nerds from the weak ones! If you want to spend Christmas or New Years with family and friends go ahead! Hehe, twl round Xmas never bothered me, as long as it isn't ON the day - isn't it an even better time? Sure New Years Eve/Day are bad, as is Xmas Eve-Boxing Day, but whats the problem here?

You have holidays from school, it's usually (in Canada at least) cold and snowy this time of year, and do you really spend THAT much time with your family over the holidays? If you do kudos, guess my fams different. Really though, seems like a better time for twl to me, no school, bad weather, no exams either (right college people?).
