TWL Preseason -Week 2

I know everyone is anxious to get the ball rolling and play the 'real' games, get a week closer to shutting down the ability to squadhop, and read about matches that mean something, but we are going to have another week of preseason.

Preseason is reserved for testing and making sure things run smoothly. With a brand new TWL website, there are a lot of things we need to test with a larger number of people than myself, Rii, and Flabby. We were able to sort out the roster lock problem last week and this week we are focusing on the negotiations.


Captains will be able to negotiate a time by sometime tomorrow, Dec. 3rd. Rii is nearly done with it, but needs to code a few rules into the system. Normally the deadline to agree on a time is Thursday, but we are extending it to Friday.

edit: was kinda hopin we'd have only 1 preseason week so that we could knock out most of TWL during the xmas holidays where many people dont have school....dont really want this to drag on next year because the majority of us have school starting up again...zz

edit: was kinda hopin we'd have only 1 preseason week so that we could knock out most of TWL during the xmas holidays where many people dont have school....dont really want this to drag on next year because the majority of us have school starting up again...zz

ok so this way the first twl game is the 14th (or whatever, i just realized i have family photos that day so i guess i am missing it). how does delaying it by one week really cause that much of an inconvenience? the playoffs will be played next year regardless, what the fuck does the regular season matter?

there will be another delay for xmas weekend, that pushes it back another 2 weeks. College for alot of ppl starts Jan 12. the further the season/playoffs are pushed back the more time it interferes with school. yes some of us do go to college. was hoping to avoid that, mr instigator.
